Literally 3/4 players want LFD

It’s not going to generate any new players without dungeon finder.

But I tried a mega server. I tried Mankrik. I hated it. It was WAY too many people. Everyone is a stranger. It felt like Retail. I’d never play on such a server.

I think the 70 boost is more of a detriment to new players over LFD. New players are going to literally start at 70 on whatever realm they want.

And if you are going to start somewhere as a new player, odds are you are going to want to play where a majority of players are playing. Starting on a small server carries to many risks, will the server die? Are there enough guilds for me to raid with? Is there a high level PvP player pool? All these things are mitigated by playing on a mega server. You also only get the one boost per acc, so its a HUGE gamble starting on a smaller realm.

A single dude. It’s no different from the game ‘Back 4 Blood’ citing themselves as the “developers” of L4D. Was the game(B4B) even remotely good? Nope! Just because a dude or two who worked on the major project thought it was a good idea doesn’t mean it was.

There are numerous problems and boosting needs to go in general.

LFD in Wrath is literally what the game was like. Your statement is contradictory.

It’s a story mode and to gear up alts. No progression raider cares about LFR.

I’m pro-LFD and posting on my Classic level 70. Now what?

blizzard should change their minds and add back lfd and have it at the start of classic wrath.there is zero point to add it in a year later with classic wrath being the last of the classic series.

Making sweeping generalizations works well, I gave it a try like that other dude. What else is there to discuss. There is no LFD in wrath and there won’t be. That’s it. People just don’t wanna quit beating a dead horse. People either learn how to make groups or go play something else.

This is just a bit ridiculous, “leave if you dont want to play MY way” just hurts everyone by driving players away from an already declining game. The more players you can cater to the healthier the game is and the longer people will play it.

As i have brought up before, the addition of LFD doesnt need to be mutually exclusive with a social experience. It can provide support to players as they journey to where the majority of players are. From there they can look for groups and guilds amongst a plethora of equivalently leveled and geared players.

Keeping things the way they are just destroys the already abysmal new player and alt experience, which ultimately just increases the rate of declibe. A careful and calculated roll out of LFG could support a big group of players and foster a healthy 1-70 experience. Once those players have hit 80, there will be a big group of players to actively engage in grouping and socializing with.

Punishing people leveling or doing outdated content just because you expect them to play like you are amongst hundreds if not thousands of players while they struggle in a pool of 10-20 players around their level/gear range is just hurting the playerbase.

Sadistic.

Blizzard themselves need to do these sadistics because there is no such thing as independent research or even peer review.

Mur sadistics plox

“My way” or Blizzard’s way? We went one route in 2009, now we’re going another. That’s it.

I will tell ya, Since the release of WoW, I don’t do dungeons to make long lasting friendships, I really rarely make friends in Dungeons, I do dungeons just to do the dungeon and get loot (and XP for leveling).

Even in with the re-release of Classic and TBC, I rarely see social interaction, all I see is an occasional “Hi, GL HF, my bad and GG thanks for the run” in the party chat, thats all the social interaction I see but of course you will say to me that this is hearsay.

The LFG channel is often times unreadable and the fact you need an LFG bulletin board addon to see what groups are forming in the sea of GDKPs and Carry sales but I know you would say this is hearsay but you can see for yourself.

Why don’t you try thanking Putin and the big oil companies. :ok_woman:

Also, bringing politics into a game, kind of cringe. :grimacing:

He is responding to the person to who first injected politics into this thread, so go ahead and talk to Piezuri if you are unhappy about politics chat.

People don’t seem to understand this. Blizzard has already tried option A and seen the outcome, now they want to see the outcome after choosing option B.

There was a reason they added LFD.

Besides, the point of Classic isn’t to re-do WoW to try fix some, “mistakes”. It’s to re-release the game as is, or as close as possible. We’ll see them add LFD by the later phases purely because it’s going to be in demand.

You are 100% wrong here, sorry.

Blizzard has made changes since the initial release of Classic aimed at improving the game. Stop living in your own little dream world and pulling BS out of your rear end, because the majority of the garbage you have been spewing on these forums is totally inaccurate.

Blizzard specifically pointed out that Classic was going to be, “warts and all”. Eventually they added some changes as they saw fit.

Sure, they see no LFD as, “necessary”. But that won’t matter at all because the playerbase wants it already, and will demand it in Wrath. Blizzard will, “cave” and say they, “listened to the playerbase” as they always do.

It’s funny, the so called “playerbase” (which is really some whiny kids on these forums but sure) has been whining since the announcement and since then the lead doubled down on NO LFD. Not sure how much more clear it can be? There is no LFD… woe is me… I won’t be able to find groups.
