The LFD haters are the ones with this attitude. They hate dungeon finder, which is fine, but they want to take away my choice too. That isn’t fine. No one is forced to use it. You can be forming groups manually while I queue in LFD. That’s a win for both sides.

No one is forced to play Wrath Classic either. That’s a choice you’re making. Playing Retail is another option you could take.

If I was Blizzard, it’s very simple what I would do: remove the cross-realm aspect and merge dead realms. Done. That’s all they need to do.

Looked at the OP’s post history for 5 seconds.

Wants boosts.
Wants connected realms.

Neither were Wrath features, OP. If you want Retail features, then you can play Retail.
