LGBTQ+ Megathread & Lounge (Part 1)

So tempted to play BC Classic.

And then I’d also play Steelreign, Armored Core and Tiberian Sun.

I got into RTS because of Tiberian Sun, not Warcraft 3 or StarCraft. I didn’t play warcraft 3 till i was in high school, and then I was hooked on that for a bit.

I’d eat Calzones but I didn’t have a drink with me, so my throat would dry out while I’d be clicking on all the little orcs all like “work work
 What you want? Ooookie doookie”

Bb is like WrA/MG. It’s a nice server with nice people.

I’m happy for people who can enjoy it it’s hard for me to pick up a new start though in the context of it still being wow, like I’m trying out ffxiv and bouncing between eso I think.

Though of the two classics BC has more appeal than the vanilla classic to me just because BEs

E-123 Omega was the best you mean

ANIHI-CHARGE-ANIHI-CHARGE

I tried Elder Scrolls Online and FFXIV but I only played each for an hour or so, so I don’t think I gave them a full shot. Worth it? Because I’m currently super invested in AC: Valhalla.

Oh yeah I like them both a lot!

My two mmos are WoW and SWTOR and I needed a break from both.

Of the two I like ff more but I couldn’t tell you why as of yet it just has like a relaxed vibe I was looking for

I played it on the Dreamcast. But steam has SA2Battle I think. I think the first game was mario I played on some old systems. Mario and pokemon were some of the first games I owned. I used to play on my brother’s dreamcast alot. He had sonic and then gave it to me (the whole dreamcast). It was nice. I played that and capcom vs marvel.

Pokémon was one of my first too.

I remember I used all my money to get both me and my brother a Gameboy and red and blue so he would play with me.

We’ve both been hooked since.

I think we have a bingo here with the wOmEnS sPoRtS rhetoric.

The thing none of them gave a crap about until a trans person showed up

I would think the question is good to consider. I wouldn’t put them in the same competitions as girls if they are on male hormones for example. Ideally they would be in there own league from a biological standpoint. But there wouldn’t be much people in those sorts of leagues I guess? Idk I would think biologically it wouldn’t be good for cis girls. Since I think most boys and girls are separated because of the different hormones we get as teenagers. Testosterone is really good for sports. Guys even try using steroids (and some females too) which I have seen lead to heart attacks.

Ideally you may get biological markers to help for more fair matches? Idk in the spirit of competition I would consider biological markers for such conflicts. As I recall in wrestling we had weight brackets in highschool. If they didn’t have someone from one weight class they would match with similar enough weight brackets or try to make someone lose/gain weight to make that bracket.

In the end I wouldn’t think it’s a big deal though if they aren’t playing a tournament or something.

Yea sure, professional sports, that a different thing

The law made sure to target children as well, you know, those people that all suck at sports regardless of sex

All it takes it a coach to say " Hey I don’t think Jimothy is actually a boy" and well parents gotta go have someone check their kids bits out

I am a teacher and my students are 12. The fact that there are people out there who are dead-set on excluding some children, who are 12, by the way, from playing soccer with their peers because of who they identify as is just
 Really sucky.

Like, my kids have teams with mixed genders and sexes anyways. Our school’s soccer team is both male and female (and everything in between too!).

It’s like, legit, 12 year old soccer. I can’t imagine telling some of my students they can’t participate because of who they are. Unfortunately with some people, bigotry can run pretty deep. :frowning:

That would be uncomfortable, but in highschool in the lockerroom you’d probably have to do that anyway when changing. Then you get physicals by the doctors etc. I wouldn’t say it’s a bad thing just another uncomfortable thing about growing up. But this is talking in regards to fairness and sportsmanship. If they are talking about casual play with no competition aspect I don’t see why not have transgender kids.

I’d say it’s more applicable to sports like wrestling that you’d do that. You’d also have to argue about hormones. Some females produce more testosterones naturally, cis or trans. Same with males, some have less testosterone production. That would be something to argue about if people genuinely cared, but right now it’s just split by what you have between your pants.

For casual stuff I don’t see an issue, I’d play with both genders. But competitively maybe more rules then. I am not sure on the trans points of view though, since I am just gay/maybe slightly bi. I would also be confused by where the non-bindary people go which is why I would just pick by biological markers/similar bodytypes/weights.

This post is so hypocritical lmao.

I think we need to put some of these people on ignore . All they are trying to do is derail the thread so Blizz will shut it down.

Did that kid finally give up and leave?

I doubt it. Seems to be a dedicated troll character.

If you mean big, they left but they didn’t give up. There is a new troll thread based off their ranting.
