Texas and Florida say otherwise. Or most of the bible belt. We still have to deal with anti trans stuff and the “Dont say gay” bill in Florida that even Disney is funding

That’s not what the bill is even called, nor it’s subject matter. And what do you mean anti-Trans? There’s a trans swimmer that won a national title.

There’s a reason I used the word “Reduce.”

Representation cannot get rid of marginalization on its own, but it can help to improve the general societal attitude towards marginalized people.

You can’t dismantle systemic oppression with a magic TV show, and I’m not going to pretend otherwise.

Because denying trans folks their hrt or surgery makes their dysphoria worse and bumps up their chances of suicide.

Your community is more being used by corporate companies, politicians and film stars to appear progressive so people buy their stuff

That support is all on superficial level

/points to blizzard scandal. This company claimed all sorts empowerment and support for woman and minorities like LGBT

But beyond surface there was totally another picture going on

As someone that went thru that actually growing up. I don’t recommend what you’re suggesting.

Having dysphoria is one thing. Having dysphoria and being forced to watch your body change into something that doesn’t match at all dang near killed me.
