Which, after the implications of his mask from the Visions of Stormwind - It is really nice to know that for the first time in his life he is choosing his own happiness over the sense of duty he feels to the crown.

At the ICC thing before you enter the Maw with all the other leaders he talks about feeling guilty that he wasn’t able to stop Anduin from getting kidnapped because he was “Choosing his own happiness” or something like that.

After Anduin was taken and you go to meet Shaw and Genn and the others in Kings Rest.

If you stick around after and talk to shaw he makes a minor mention of it.

And that him letting himself feel is why he didn’t see this coming


Then he chastised himself because he deserves to be happy.
