I can’t even believe that they aren’t utilizing Azerothians to explore the realms when it’s clear that folks are coming to the Shadowlands freely since there’s folks hanging around Oribos.
I really enjoy the cosmic stuff. I don’t enjoy zero build up to it or even expanding how other worlds in this universe function. We know Elune is worshiped outside of Azeroth, that’s awesome, ok so how did you guys worship her? We know they have access to the Night Warrior but what did you guys do differently?
They have these opportunities and don’t take it because they want to only focus on the main narrative. They have done nothing to connect the Shadowlands to Azeroth in any way. Zorvaal is going to come for the soul of your world!! Aight, so it’s Tuesday?
I was kinda hoping to see Shaw visit Oribos so he can see Kearnen. That would have been sweet since they were really best friends. ( Also cmon imagine Flynn tagging along. That’d be so cute )
they have potential but I don’t have the faith required to believe that the team is capable of utilizing it and making the world and the narrative both work well. because let’s be honest, so far it’s been an absolute trainwreck.
Least fanfic writers are taking all the good parts of shadowlands lore and working with that.
That’s pretty much what I’m doing in my head. It’s fun to work on how he’s adjusting to his new male body. Along with how he’s meshing quite well with Venthyr. Or how he acts differently when he changes his soulbind.
Theotar he’s basically Alucard in Hellsing Abridged. I can’t post the funnier bits here because of the language and gore.
edit i forgot to mention how he’s gonna handle his eventual relationship with his Incubus. Just lots of cuddles because it makes me happy.
You’d think that would be the case for the draenei and orcs since they aren’t from Azeroth. I know the writers could just hand wave it and say that wouldn’t be an issue but it’s a funny issue to think about.
Like they would need some time to let their digestive systems adjust to food on Azeroth.
Another kinda rando headcanon I have is Blood Elves had to sort of relearn proper dieting. Because I’d imagine fel magic would help burn a few calories. Heck Orcs got mega swole from demon blood.
The idea of fancy elves having to remind themselves “Oh wait I can’t eat this entire cake without consequences anymore” is just amusing
Another one I like is that apparently Kul Tirans really aren’t aware just how far the scourge spread in azeroth. Flynn shows surprise in the exploring the eastern kingdom books about that.
Nice way to show Kul Tirans have really been in their own bubble
lol. I like to think Rosenivy held most of their mana cravings away because of their fel studies.
One idea I have is that their soul shards are embedded in their chest. Kinda where their collar bone is or just under it. Although that happened later more in Legion
