LFR should share lockout with normal and heroic raids

Given that Blizzard developers have reconsidered their stance and are now planning to add LFR to Cataclysm, it is crucial that LFR shares a lockout with Normal and Heroic raid lockouts. This is because LFR is an optional difficulty level that complements Normal and Heroic modes. Sharing a lockout will prevent hyper gearing, maintain the challenge of new raid tiers, and ensure a balanced progression experience for all players.

No. As you said, LRF is optional. If you don’t like it, then don’t do it.

Yeah so is normal and Heroic they are optional as well LFR is just a 3rd option

So what’s the problem? No one is forced to queue for it.

Nothing bad happened in OG cata with LFR, it won’t happen this time.

nothing bad at all happened? what about the guilds who took 15 people in and kicked the 10 pugs out so they had all the loot for themselves?

What you are suggesting is that LFR, Normal, and Heroic raids should all have separate lockouts simply because participation is optional. Do you not see how this could be problematic?

LFR is story mode with inferior loot. A separate lockout for it is fine.

Here are only a couple of the things that went bad in LFR in OG cata

  • Loot Distribution Issues: Many guilds exploited the LFR system by bringing in a majority of their members and then kicking out random players (pugs) to ensure that all the loot went to their guild members. This created a negative experience for many players who were unfairly removed from raids.

  • Toxic Behavior: The anonymity and ease of access to LFR led to an increase in toxic behavior, including harassment, trolling, and general disrespect among players. This detracted from the overall enjoyment of the game for many participants.

  • Reduced Raid Difficulty: LFR significantly lowered the difficulty of raid encounters, which diminished the sense of accomplishment and challenge that many players sought in raiding. This led to a less rewarding experience for those who enjoyed the challenge of higher difficulty raids.

  • Impact on Guild Raiding: The availability of LFR made it easier for players to obtain gear without participating in organized guild raids. This weakened the sense of community and teamwork that is central to the Classic WoW experience, as players were less incentivized to join and commit to guilds.

Normal is another mode that is inferior loot to heroic, it should also have a separate lockout too no?

This guy has been obsessed over this for so long.

And all because, according to him, he doesn’t want to feel forced to do lfr. Talk about a horrible reason. The rest of his ramblings are non-factual, illogical nonsense with no basis in reason or reality.

A shared lockout means players have to pick lfr or another raid difficulty. By default you’ll have less people raiding with their guilds. A separate lockout just means it’s another option. Something they can choose to do if they want, or completely ignore. And it doesn’t impact their guild raiding.

So he can keep making as many spam threads as he wants (and they should be reported as spam, btw), but his personal problem of being unable to resist doing lfr is his problem.

Normal loot is inferior to Heroic loot. The LFR tier also works with normal and heroic tier, as well as with the trinkets. Therefore, even though the loot from LFR and normal might be inferior to heroic, they still add a substantial amount of power to the overall player and should share a lockout. Additionally, we will have the ability to get tier from BH as well.

Posting in a tantrum thread!

LFR hurt the game less than adding additional higher difficulties. Heroic and Mythic killed normal raiding, not LFR (which is still used and popular today).

Lmao at the chatGPT formatted replies.

Are you aware that this is a violation of the ToS?
Please stop posting trying to derail topics which is also against the ToS aswell.
The same applies to both of you as well.

Super helpful when you can’t make your own point organically.
Just like paying for gear when you can’t get it through your own merit!

Radoalpho, Karkasy and Zaalg Will you please stop trying to derail the topic.

The subject being disccuseed here is why LFR should share a lockout with normal nd heroic. NOTHING ELSE!!!

nah, nuance is important and knowing about the person posting is crucial to understanding their stance.

So yes, you buying gear and using chatGPT to make posts for you is valid for this thread and understanding the point in which you “argue” from.

Since you pay to raid, do not understand class balance, your opinion on the LFR difficulty is irrelevant. You pay to get content done, not doing it organically.
