LFR raiders locked out of story content till Feb

Maybe you should realize not everyone raids in this game. Let’s not be disrespectful or ignore the fact that not everyone plays this game for the same reasons.

It’s fine to have raid storyline and raid specific quests. This Bolvar quest is one in a series from the base storyline. So there’s the difference.

It’s side story for that zone. You could continue to play the main storyline without touching Suramar.

Yes. It does. That’s why this thread exists. This isn’t the Remoria quest. It’s a series of quests.

Going to stop here. I have things to do and this is just going in circles.

Side ? No, it’s the main story for the zone. It’s literally the zone’s main story. MAIN. I repeat myself, because this is important.

Uh… you can continue the main storyline in Shadowlands without touching Torghast too.

I think you’re grossly misinformed on the quests then.

The Bolvar stuff is Torghast and Torghast only.

Remornia is the only quest in the raid.

That’s it. That’s the thing you keep missing.

Good, because you obviously don’t know what you’re talking about.

One last post.

That’s what I said. For that zone. It’s not a block to base story of the expansion.

No you can’t. The main storyline comes from Bolvar.

It’s literally the main storyline.

And you’re wrong.

I’m not the one that’s wrong here. Try researching and actually paying attention to the storyline. :woman_facepalming:t4:

NOW I’m done.

If you didn’t do it, you would have not really understood how the heck Illidan came to be in the picture no.

Uh ? No it doesn’t, that’s just a side story.

The main story is your Covenant Campaign.

No, I’m correct. You don’t know what you’re talking about.

I researched it.

Bolvar doesn’t give you a quest for the raid. You’re misunderstanding what is going on here.

The FOLLOWUP to the Anduin quests ALSO requires to have done the Remornia turn in. It doesn’t require the raid ITSELF.

Keep being wrong though.

You literally just need to read the OP, it’s not even hard.

As it is right now it’s not main story, but are you seriously suggesting that Thrall, Baine, Jaine and the boy king will have nothing to do with the main story in 9.1 onwards?

I mean, if we’re going to call the Suramar quest line a side story, so is the Bolvar stuff.

Ridiculous arguments get ridiculous counters.

Fair enough…

I stepped into normal CN the first day with a 155 ilvl LoL!

I disagree that it’s a terrible thing. In past expansions, I’d get a quest to kill so and so in the raid, and I would often put it off for a while if I wasn’t already actively in a raid that was working on it.

So in that regard, it’s really no different. At least this time, I didn’t even know that quest you’re talking about existed, because I don’t have a quest clogging up my quest log that tells me to kill Denathrius, that I won’t do for another month or 2 maybe if at all.

What’d you do, hit the bosses with popcorn?

I was about to but then I though, “what a waste of popcorn.” So I just hit them with my axe lol!

Strangely enough I kind of like youtube. I binge watched all the cut scenes in BfA and it worked better than running into them spread over two years. I did that with the raids too, but it’s hard to find streamers that post vids without obnoxious music…

Wtf is a LFR raider lmao. Can you imagine guilds recruiting for LFR progression.

My first denathrius kill was on a pug, no voice, 189ilvl paladin typing out plans before, during, and after a wipe.

It was a mess, but a mess that ended up working.

That’s a man right there. :+1:

They aren’t locked out of the story

They are more than free to do a pug

Or go on YouTube

Lots of hate for LFR, sure it’s a giant mess but if you don’t like it you aren’t forced to do it. It was a means for people who don’t want to be in a real raid to still be able to see the fights, get a concept of the story, and some suboptimal gear. Gating story behind an already gated raid is a terrible idea, and the amount of people who support the destruction of casual players don’t understand the consequences. You’ll be playing a very very dead MMO if it returns to the raid or die formula.

Please, recycle more meaningless words from the WoW community.

If you feel like you have raided after being in an LFR, good for you, man.
