Because people don’t roll mog when they want mog (because they’ll never win.)
And you can roll need on anything that isn’t the exact item at a higher ilvl.

That’s your (flawed) take on it. Some people do it to know the fights and bosses at that level, or to get slightly weaker raid gear/sets. Some even enjoy the more chaotic feeling of LFR, or the huge convenience of getting to do anything else while the raid gets formed.
With heroic dungeons providing veteran track and catalyst providing tier sets, LFR is something that kinda lost purpose in the gearing process.
I’ll still do each wing once, since story mode won’t cover all fights, and I don’t even know how those “fights” will look like.
Yeah, it shouldn’t happen, but it does. No idea why I can roll need on LFR items, but it’s a reality.
You can get your gear in story mode (in future if not current.) You can see the fights in story mode.
Why do we need LFR around again?
That sounds like a bug to me. I’m about 99.9% certain that in past expansions you weren’t able to roll need on items below the ilvl of what you had equipped or in your bags. If this was an intentional change in WW then I wouldn’t know, I never actually did WW lfr because I outgeared the drops before it even released.
You always could roll need unless if you have that exact item.
Not all fights, I don’t know about item drops in there either.
Even in DF I could, it’s not new.
Then it should be all fights, and Story mode should have LFR drops.
Then we can delete LFR.
You are missing the main point which is a queue system for raids, so we’re not at the mercy of pug leaders, again, AND it leave us free to do other content while we wait, since being in a raid halts your questing or other queues (dungeons/ PvP).
It’s the same reason I advocate for M0/M+ queues.
It’s a huge time saver. Make LFR work for normal raids. That’s it.
LFR was a huge win that people like you hate for no reason.
No, LFR players are not good enough to do normal even if allowed in. People are hard carried by determination
Use group finder.
Get in a group.
Done.
Personal loot had baked-in bad luck protection as well, which eventually led you to loot. Group loot doesn’t have such a thing.
Just a reminder that there was LFR before determination was a thing.
And that you can’t judge people’s skill level for the activity they do.
More like use group finder.
Waste minutes getting declined, unable to do something else.
Maybe get in a group.
PGF only works if you are leading and in that case I agree that not everyone is fit for leading.
In both cases, the lost time is an issue.
Make the group yourself “lead” as in, put group together.
Expect group to magically figure stuff out.
Pull, wipe, disband.
What was even your point here?
Personal loot does not have bad luck protection.
Bosses drop X amount of loot.
You cannot get X to be above that.
That you don’t have to lead. Just make a group finder group, auto invite or something. And expect miracles to happen, lul.
Listen to yourself. You’re so caught up in the rat race and your need to be better than someone else(anyone else) that you’re not even looking at what’s in front of you. A carry would be those buying Mythic clears.
LFR is a participation trophy. You can’t carry someone through it because all they have to do is show up.
LFR is just there to fill out vault slot and experience. Remember you can get even dungeon loot from LFR. As far as I’m aware. I know that raid row offered me a necklace from dungeon.
If people just show up, and no one actually plays. The boss actually does not die.
People at 10 stacks of determination would like to share their stories with you.
That’s how my sister does things for M+. She does not speak/type English, plays BM hunter on a gamepad and randomly invite people for M+ 2-6.
It works sometimes, but when it doesn’t, it’s a disaster that makes everyone lose 40 minutes of their lives.
LFR could totally work for normal raids and without determination at this point.
Blizzard could just stop making content a “guaranteed success” for auto queue PvE systems.
It’s already like that for PvP.
On that note, not even 10 stacks of determination were enough for people to kill Raszageth in DF S1 and some select other fights.
So. LFR Raszageth was too much, and you want to upgrade that to normal… ya…
