LFR is not getting removed. Get over it already

Im sorry…a player leveled up to 120 FARMING MATS ONLY.
Didnt kill a single thing.
i can dig up a link if you want.
So tell me again how interaction is REQUIRED to play the game?

How are you going to do a dungeon in Classic without talking to anyone? how are you going to do MC/Ony without talking to anyone? social interaction used to be the best part of WoW.

Then LFR will by default destroy a massive part of the game for people who want a ever increasing difficulty curve in the game and will crush every dungeon below mythic into brain dead grinding.

This sadly isn’t a zero sum system something must be lost for lfr to survive and I am not convinced the trade is worth it. Judging by how much success a 15 year old version of the game currently is I think the majority agrees.

no…my mommy wrote it down in a napkin. Word of the day and such.

and he misses the laughable irony that HE is doing exactly that in here when all he needs to do is just NOT LFR :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

eh…WRONG
If anything LFR being there keeps those dirty casuals from demanding that normals being dragged down to their level of play.
Try again.

Am I?

It always seems to me that I lay out my examples and show what lfr has factually changed about the game and build off the argument that these changes were not worth the price of admission.

Now people never like trying to challenge me on those points they simply try to dismiss them and depending on the time frame call me some sort of elitist in a desperate gamble to bury my point in senseless bickering.

No, it didn’t. LFR provides a way for people to simply have fun in a recreational video game the way they want to.

No one is forced to do LFR, you can completely skip it, and never interact with it.

If you don’t like LFR, just don’t do it. It’s not mandatory, nor is it “Destroying” anything.

Seriously take a chill pill and just do what you want to do, stop obsessing over how other people play their game in a way that has zero effect on you.

It’s like people completely forget this is a casual recreational game that people just play to have fun.

Not everything needs to be competitive, not everything has to be super difficult and hard. Not everyone has to be a “Pro-gamer”.

Casual players exist, even in Classic wow, casual players exist.

wow…did you just not read what I posted at all?
SOME players DONT do dungeons.
:face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Did they?

I never really saw people progressing through heroic dungeons that lost that element of the game ever scream that they wanted a mode they couldn’t lose at…

I wonder in your grand collation of vaguely defined players how many there truly are?

LFR is pure garbage.

So you played less then half the game then say Classic and retail are the same because someone leveled to 120 in retail by picking herbs and mining copper?

Byucknah,

When WoW went up against EQ it was successful because WoW is…and always has been…a far more casual and solo friendly game. The game is literally built on the premise that there are a variety of ways to play it.

MMORPG has never been MMORPG WTOF (Massively Multi-player Online Role Playing Game Work Together Or Fail). There are, of course, examples where that is the case, there are examples where it is not.

LFR is here, it’s not going anywhere, and if the minimal gear it rewards gets “real” raiders upset then that’s on them.

Because that’s so much different than someone Alt-tab auto attacking mobs to death.

The ease of Heroics, and Mythic+ dungeons skews the curve, not LFR.

Having fun how exactly? By giving them something that has less interaction then a resident evil cutscene?

You also have stopped trying to address my points and are trying to gloss over them. LFR entirely changed how dungeons operate you can’t really just deny that because it torpedoes your points…

As for casual what exactly do you mean by that? Ive seen it used to define people who play the game for sixty hours a week… I don’t really know if whatever is in your head is a actual large chunk of the playerbase or not.

Things don’t need to be competitive but they at least need to pose some sort of challenge otherwise you don’t have a game.

thats what we love about THIS game and why we stay subbed guy…because its a big wide world out there where I can PET BATTLE to max level if I want to.
Get over it. Play YOUR game and just leave others to do the same

Let us say you are right…

If this is the case how does it justify changing what was successful to become easier and easier?

Arguing they got it right then saying that even further change is needed is baffling to me.

Nobody thinks LFR is going to be removed.

Personally I don’t think it’s good for the game but I know it’s not going anywhere.

I don’t care if you could level by sitting in goldshire erping that has nothing to do with endgame content.
