Lfr is bad for the game

So youre assertion is that Blizzard knows that LFR has and is causing massive sub losses…and with that data has chosen to keep LFR regardless just to tick a few of you off.

I’ll reiterate why you’re wrong again, just for the sake of repetition may have an effect on you.

Having four difficulties is creating a massive exponential growth in character power, as stated here.

I personally have brought up the exponential power curvature we have for Blizzard trying to fit in four raid difficulties, although some seemed to have missed that.

Edit: Now arguably you can throw in Flex(Normal) into the mix because LFR predates that difficulty, but if they squeeze it out of the lost there will be too big of a difficulty gap for some players. (I’m more LFR to be as rewarding as it should be, with dungeon gear, rather than it’s termination)

Yeah, we really don’t need normal anymore, it kinda just was there originally as a test in SoO for group size scaling raids.

If they remove it and lower the item level Heroic and Mythic drop as well as the respective mechanics to not need that high amount of gear, the game could definitely benefit not having to grow so out of control.

I was just on the PTR and set up my 384 Paladin in full 415 gear(414 with neck), and my HP grew from 160k to about 250k, which is insane for one tier, considering Crucible of Storms is supposed to be like ToV with another slight increase. By the expansion’s end we’re likely to be at 400k, which is a terrifyingly fast amount of growth. Essentially cementing the fact they are very likely to do another stat squish. Which is a huge issue.

How about this:

We know that the last 2 expansions have sold 8-10 million copies. However all the sub speculation through realm population and addon API has the subs somewhere between 2-4 million. We also know from WoW Progress that that 30,000 guilds have killed at least 1 Heroic boss in Uldir. If you take the average Heroic group size from Warcraft Logs you end up with about 600,000 players who have killed a Heroic boss this tier.

So looking at it like that you could potentially say that 1.4-3.4 million people are LFR only depending on Subs. Also remember that we don’t have data on Normal mode so it’s probably much less. So if we got rid of LFR we might lose those people. But as a business if you make a fun, rewarding and fulfilling game without LFR and everything that comes with it, you have the potential to keep those 6-8 million people who bought the game and left. As a business wouldn’t that make sense to do? I feel like they have to change it up or they will keep bleeding subs every expansion.

So you can’t answer my question because you know I’m right. I actually can answer your question. But the issue is you’re too ignorant when it comes to things like server community and actual interactions within an MMO. You’ve made that part pretty clear as day.

Its affecting everything because since LFR is the first level of difficulty it is what’s setting the bar …which I think warfronts are setting a higher bar than lfr at the moment…

That is the problem, they can’t move the bar. If the LFR bosses are anything but target dummies you guys complain for nerfs and say you will quit. Just look at Nazgrim in SOO. You LFR people couldn’t stop attacking the boss in defensive stance so they had to nerf it so you could just ignore his mechanics.

Yeah they actually do. I did LFR Zek Voz for the first time the other day because someone told me you actually cant die on that fight. So I brought my DPS in there and stood in every Surging Darkness and ran around and spawned every Yogg add, couldn’t kill myself even with trying.
