LFR - if you have better, why roll Need?

There is a real simple thing you can do to prevent situations like this from assaulting you. QUIT INSPECTING PEOPLE THAT WIN ROLLS! There is literally no reason to do it except to piss yourself off and have a reason to be angry at other people. Just stop.

If the dice is lit, its 100% with in your right to select need and roll.

As i say in every one of these threads, you are not entitled to the loot more than I am.

Heres a tip.

Play the game.
Dont be a loot Karen by inspecting people that won a loot roll

Thats right “LOOT ROLL” not gear roll.

Caused? No. Not sure where the idea that PL or GL are the cause of players acting in their own interest came from considering neither of us mentioned it. But PL wasn’t filled with sunshine and butterfly kisses like people tend to pretend it was. It was just as toxic and degen as GL has ever been.

Within so many ilvls stats matter more, so you can get a downgrade upgrade

I wouldn’t need on something that wasn’t an upgrade for me, but I also think if you are inspecting other people’s gear after they win a roll in LFR, you are taking this way too serious and should mind your own beeswax.

your so right bestie i hope they bring back ninja looting cause everyone is entitled to loot

No, you just lost the roll for an item.

I sense a lack of you understanding what rolling for an item actually is.
It’s a game of chance, with the outcome of either you winning, or losing.

PSA- You don’t always win.

You knew those rules going in, you agreed to them, and yet when it comes time to take that chance, you complain about someone else winning. Pfft…

Because Blizzard is development is (censored).

and thats why you cant get what you want or you stop queueing. Does the loot system make sense now? Glad we’re having this discussion.

Nobody uses the transmog roll due to the fact that it is programmed to be superseded by the need roll. People who want the mog want the exact same chance as people who need the gear. And you know what? That’s fair enough.

He participated. He has just as much right to loot as you.

Its crappy lfr gear anyways.

Delves are easier than LFR, offer champ gear at t8, and are always gear at the end.

Blizz messed up this season start big time lolz

If i were you id get into the delves before its nerfed cause its going to be.

Look at my gear

Thats from 8 (4 per day) T8 bountiful delves.

Back in my day we just kicked people who rolled need on everything and they were shamed by the whole server.

Times change.

The transmog roll does not actually roll anything if anyone rolls need or I think greed. Need and Greed for some reason carry themselves on a higher queue for loot than transmog which in itself is rather dumb. The entire group could roll for transmog but if even one person rolls need or greed the item skips all those who picked transmog and it’s immediately awarded to the need/greed person. Only ever seen the transmog option get rolled for once and it was the very last thing rolled on

Back in that day you didn’t invite people who weren’t geared. You asked them to come to the bank to inspect them and declined them if they didn’t meet your expectations.

Half the people in LFR put very little effort into their characters or their performance. They run along, often semi afk, and then believe they are entitled to all the drops. Back in my day, those people would have been kicked out of any raid group or guild.

They tried that for a few expansions and personal loot instead created an entitlement attitude where a person can be harassed for having the audacity of looting the boss during the raid. So… no.

The change means that if you lost the roll, you lost the roll. Between choosing a fair option where a person can win or lose by their own luck, or a system where harassment and spam is encouraged … I am going to put my vote behind the “fairness” of RNG. So they did do something about the actual real issue in LFR … and folks are upset that they “lose” gear that they weren’t ever entitled to in the first place.

For all intents and purposes, that’s what ya’ll are advocating for. A harassment based ninja looting system, where the one who gets the most harassed has to hand over their gear to someone else.

Back in your day you would have entire realms coming together to believe whoever was the most popular at the time, and harass anyone said popular person decided to make the enemy of everyone on a realm.

Let’s not go back to a time when harassment was regarded as socially acceptable despite the ToS stating it wasn’t.

Because xmog is the true end game. I do believe LFR should be personal loot just to avoid all the rolling when we want to steamroll the raid.

LFR should be personal loot but someone insisted on the stupid idea of rolling for loot because apparently there wasn’t enough acrimony in the community already.

The only way to level the playing field is for everyone to roll need, because if you’re depending on the good nature of 24 anonymous strangers, you’re going to lose most of the time.

Participated in the fight, have the right to roll, dry those eyes.
