Yea but on the less on you once you list yourself as the wrong role not the group leader when they expect you to fill it.
No, all of these problems would have existed regardless because they ported the game onto the Shadowlands client.

Go ahead and go use group finder in retail and see if you have this problem. You won’t.
If they never changed anything classic would not exist. The master file was damaged and had to be repaired to make classic as such not changing anything was impossible. Even to make it exactly the same would require them to change it in order to make it work.
They also had to import the entire game onto the Legion client. That didn’t help.
Well they dint have to import it but they did for sound reasons such as letting real id work and security reasons.

Yeah, the classic team is far more incompetent than a team of private server devs. It’s embarrassing for Blizzard.
Remember, you’re just complaining that a very basic group finder can’t even save your role after you log out.
Yes they are and it’s quite sad the private servers made the changes to a much higher level and functionality.
P servers have been running wrath for over a decade without these problems.
They even made a server with no RDF just like we have now…it failed miserably.

Yea but as said they made tons of changes to get to that point. Fact is changes had to be made for it to even run.
Yes private servers have done better than blizzard at doing the same we have all mentioned that.
We are countering your claim that changes could of been prevented that is outright impossible. Classic couldent even be opened without changes.
If a group is listing multiple dungeons don’t request to join that group if you are not available for all of them.
If you’re the leader of a group looking for multiple dungeons don’t invite people looking for single dungeons unless you’re prepared to just run a dungeon at a time
Look at the make up of a group before you request to join, if you’re a dps warrior and you don’t wanna share loot with other plate dps classes don’t request to join a group that already has a ret pally and a frost dk.
If you’re a tank class and you wanna roll need on tank loot queue as a tank.

Wasted? That is literally one of the reasons why the kick is there. Ontop of that, we have dual spec. People can play multiple roles. I really dont remember any situation outside of a handful of arrogant warriors who would que outside their role for a faster que, and lack the appropriate off spec.
Rdf is not perfect, but compared to what we have now, it might as well be considered as such.

I remember a lot of them. I often saw Ret Paladins do it and for some reason if you had some one do it on the healer side it always seemed to be a Balance spec Druid.
Every system has its issues and if they are having this much trouble with a basic LFD tool I’d be pretty scared of what RDF would look like tbh. Im pretty skeptical so I tend to lean to the side that we don’t have it because they tried using the retail version of RDF and for whatever reason it just didn’t work.
