LFD kick abusers have made the WoW experience miserable for my friend

There’s a world of difference between wanting to only play with my 4 friends, and wanting to run a dungeon without anyone trying to wipe the group, be edgy in chat, or tank in fury spec.

If he didnt know the dungeon he shouldnt have Qued as a healer do it as DPS first

lol…when I made a thread saying this SAME thing about tanks this forum blew a flippin gasket.
Selective outrage…because you basically did the same thing and they wont make a single chirp about your post lol

I don’t fully agree, you can see what you have to do before you zone in and be capable of healing without having dps’d the dungeon. I’d say it is more that you need to either know what to do, or be able to learn as you go, since healers don’t have 2 other people to pick up slack in the same role.

Me and my friend were queuing in BFA and on voice, They were a 3 stack. He said they initiated a vote kick on me because I was pulling by misdirecting hard to get mobs to the tank so we could AOE it down faster.
I was super geared so was tripling their damage.

He wrote it in chat so they could see I know, they said yeah we just learning mechanics and don’t want to AOE if that is ok. I was like no problem and we completed the dungeons a bit slower but as a happy group. Ended up doing more with them so I could show them short cuts etc

Sometimes it just takes a bit of constructive communication

I will also say in LFR I’m a massive vote kick person, I see it all the time, that healer or dps that runs off edge straight away so they can afk a fight. I call them out and vote kick that stuff. Low DPS/heals no problem as long as they trying :stuck_out_tongue:

It sounded like he had a case of “nerves” as well. I know when I get that feeling, playing through as DPS a time or 2 makes me feel more secure in the role. Honestly though I have infinite patience lol and only agreed to a vote kick 1 time in my life and it was because the guy was just being a horrible person/

That is fair, for sure. Definitely less stress as a DPS, so you can get a feel for what is going on without being the sole healer or sole tank.

Follower dungeons only work if you’re at least level 60, in retail.

More strawman, courtesy of Liolang, who invents arguments that don’t exist and replies to people through telepathy since they have everyone on ignore!

Don’t play a critical role that only you have control over if you’re not able to do it. Or accept that failing will get you booted. Anxiety and all this other mental stuff is your problems, not LFGs

Again, nobody should be forced to play with you. Any kick is a valid kick as it indicates the majority of players in that group do not want you in it.

That’s not M+, this one is on auto-queues. You don’t kick people for no reason if you have to go back to trade/lfg chat and to look for more people. This is a complete non-issue in M+, because if you kick someone, you can either finish the dungeon with 4 people (and the person kicked can still get loot), or restart the dungeon with a new person (1 key level lower).

another one here FOR being kicked for no good reason lol
So Imma perma ignore you right now son…for the same reason…just because I dont have to look at your posts.
Now prove the hypocrisy and say ONE word about it in response to complain lol

sounds to me like a LOT of your sort didnt READ that Social Contract you agreed to about NOT ABUSING your fellow gamers.

While in Azeroth, do your best to:

Connect with other players and make friends! Being courteous in group content can help you and your teammates have the best time possible. Sending a friendly hello message can help set your group up for success.

Play as a team with your fellow players - whether in dungeons, raids, battlegrounds, arenas, or out questing in the world. Do your best to support your team through your communication and behaviors so that you can all celebrate your success together.

Assist other players that you encounter in the world. Maybe they need some help defeating a tough monster, or maybe they could use a little healing!
Help answer questions others have in chat channels like General or Trade. We were all newbies once - one person offering some help can go a long way!

We recognize that the Internet is not always a safe haven. With that in mind, please note that the following behaviors are not accepted in Azeroth:

Hate speech, including negative comments that target another player’s identity, including aspects like race, gender, or ability

Harassment, threats, or abusive / derogatory language and behaviors
Spamming, advertising, or other disruptive behaviors

If you harm your fellow adventurers with any of the above behaviors, you are subject to punishment up to and including suspension of your account.

It’s okay that you don’t understand the social contract or Blizzard rules. It’s not considered abuse by Blizzard. I get that you’re still all worked up over it, but that’s okay. Maybe take a longer break from the thread, re-read the social contract, post in CS for some clarity if you still need it.

I vote-kick afk/rude players, most lfd/lfr people are bad anyways, you should expect low dps, silly tanks and bad healers.

point made…

Yeah, it’s funny to see people in 480+ gear doing less damage than I did at 418 back in season 1.

o.O

Not really sure what that even means. In fact, I’m not too sure you know what that means. You’ve done nothing but attack everyone who proves that you’re wrong.

I didn’t post an opinion, I posted facts.

Buy hey…you know…tossing them out of the group over their mog and race choices is :+1: :+1: :+1: big OK

But this is Liolang we’re talking at. Facts that don’t line up with their headcanon are just treated as not.
