I don’t think you will get a blue post, or read this, but here is the supporting evidence.
See the important line, “Players may choose to remove any other player from the group for any reason, provided the vote to kick passes.”
If you vote kick someone in an LFD they must be real bad or the person voting is an absolute Dictator (minus the tator).
I’ve had tanks queue in that were so bad it was easier to tank with my pet as a hunter but instead of voting to kick normally I just leave.

Yea cause the kick timer can take too long.
I think in nearly 7 years of playing Wow i MIGHT have gone along with MAYBE 15 to 20 vote kicks.
The ones Ive initiated Id bet i can count on one hand. lol
id rather just get the run over with than bother with trying to figure out if someone is trolling or just a new player…which both can look exactly the same when theyre butt pulling mobs.
just a reminder, Liolang is arguing for votekick protection of which they’ve only been kicked 3 times. In the past 7 years. (As a TLDR summary of everyone who doesn’t wish to read.

the vote kick system can def be tweaked bc the 30 min thing is crap
and ppl just be kickin for no reason at all. lower it to 15 for first kick

History is why we got here in the first place. So tanks and healers can’t campaign to be votekicked for a better dungeon.
yes its a necessary evil but being kicked just a few mins after bein there
sux. if ima gonna be put it with the crowd bc the majority sux at least

I won’t disagree it feels bad to get kicked from the random dungeon, but unfortunately I don’t see them changing that or you get the same behavior people did when they got put into Occulus and be annoying/afk to be removed without debuff.

im not saying remove it, just lower the initial timer.

Obviously necessary because of problem players who like to troll the group.
that poster KNOWs we arent talking about removing the kick system.
I honestly don’t have anything against it, but I believe it was 30 minutes since they added it? Seems unlikely that they’d implement that change, especially since they already have a 15 minute timer attached to queing for randoms that begins when you zone in.
I really don’t think it’s be a bad change, for first kick of the day or whatever, though.

Who we don’t want in our group. They’ve already confirmed it. I know you wish they had said otherwise, but they’ve made it clear since the system was implemented. Majority rule wins. You know this though and simply wish they’d said otherwise.
They’ve been clear. There’s literally no room for other interpretation. Any reason or no reason at all.is a fine reason to use the vote system.

nothing is wrong wth it except it should be removed entirely.
trolls arent affected by the timer…they’ll just hop on another character and be at it again in 60 second and we ALL know it.
the ONLY persons punished by the timer are the players kicked for no good reason who were actually trying to play the game.
And this thread is PROOF it happens with EVERY post in here that reminds us that daddy bliz SAID we can kick everyone without any reason, lol
IF that poster was being kicked unjustly, rest assured they’d have an entirely different opinion in the matter lol
