<Cry of Scorn>
The guild is comprised of victims of Stormsong Valley. Tidesages, civilians, sailors and the like that fell victim to the events that took place on the zone. Fallen Kul Tirans risen to join the Horde war effort. So blinded by their anger that the rest of Kul Tiras never saw the signs that they vow to never let the seas be calm for the Alliance. It is sea/ship focused, and delve into the darker Davy Jones-esque areas. The name of the boat is Howl of the Damned.

Dear Moon Guard,
I have been thinking of returning to Moon Guard, likely not on this character..but I have a Troll in the works and a new concept I'd like to explore a bit!

Jump on the discord, Sibizjri! It's the easiest way for a group of us to chat to you and find out what sort of experience you're looking for.
If discord isn't your thing, tell us here on forums about your new troll concept! At the moment we are still looking for a troll guild GM, but we do have lots of people who are interested in something along these lines.
I'm sure we can put our heads together and come up with something.

I made a blood elf paladin (I know, I know, but I've never really played one). I don't have a preference for healer or tank (or DPS); is there a particular shortage of either horde-side on the server?
Edit: Also, good place to read up on blood elf lore? I checked it out a bit when they originally came out but I don't remember much other than the mana addiction.

Paladins are likely the second most populous class on Horde MG, so that kinda evens out our tank/DPS/healing population. But I will never say no to more hybrid classes doing hybrid things.

Edit: Decided to make a couple different characters and see what sticks.

I am still pretty new to the game, about four months in. I've been RPing Milaia since the start and have come to really enjoy it, but I would like to get into horde RP. I play a troll hunter on Area52 so no RP there, but I would be willing to roll a new character for MG. I just have no idea where to start when it comes to RPing horde. I chose human hunter when I began because it seemed the easiest to create a story for. I'm sure if I do some reading up I could catch on to RPing a new character fairly quickly.
Hunters are one of the easiest classes to play and to RP with, so good choice! There is lots of opportunity to customise your character with your pet of choice and to make a story around how you acquired it. You also have a nice selection of races to choose from - in fact I think every race Horde side can be a hunter, even undead!
So I would say, select your character race first. If you're looking for a human equivalent, that would be orcs, but they're a lot more savage than your typical human. If you're looking for something a little more "civillised", shall we say, you might want to try rolling a blood elf. Tauren are also one of the most peaceful races on Horde side, and have a love of nature.
That is a really good starting place. Once you have your race, we can start to direct you to which guilds might be suitable for your character. On Alliance side, your race doesn't matter so much, and many guilds have a mixture of all sorts. Relationships and position are more important. On Horde side, our race really DEFINES who we are.
That is not to say there are no mixed race guilds on Horde side, quite the opposite! But it is definitely a good idea to get some roots on racial lore. If you're an orc who behaves like a bookish blood elf, you might stick out a bit. It's fine to play, just you'll have to work a bit harder to be considered authentic. If you're an undead, you have the option of either being someone who thinks they're still alive (and behaves like a human) or someone who hates the living with a passion and is a lot more vile and dark.
Those are just examples! Come and talk to us about what ideas you have, and we'll be more than happy to help you find your way.
This guide may also be helpful. Sorry it still has a few gaps in it!

I do have a character Hordeside that I've RPed some, but I'm stretched a bit thin, between work and my Alliance RP endeavors, to really commit to it beyond the odd casual RP.
That said, I fully support boosting the Horde community up somewhat, especially with Cross RP making server events that much more feasible for both factions interacting IC, even if in antagonistic ways.

I'm always glad to help folks as they level. I sometimes give rides, etc. Feel free to poke at me if you see me.

I've updated the guild directory for new Horde guilds that have recently formed.
If you're in a Horde guild that isn't new, but has been struggling and is in need of new recruits (particularly small guilds) please let me know and I will include these as well.

Looking to go Horde? Have a think about what character you'd like to play. What class? What race? Any particular theme?
Would you like to find a guild to fit your character, or would you rather find a guild you like, then make a character to fit?
We can talk about this stuff!

More people making stuff to help Horde grow! I like it.
The discord has been growing steadily, and a nice variety of folks. Definitely come join if you have ever thought of rolling a character or transferring to Horde side!
New people are more than welcome! It's a great way to try something new and we can make the transition as seamless and painless as possible.
Our numbers increase slowly but steadily every day!
