Leveling my Characters

I can’t seem to level past 70 on any of my characters, is there a reason why?

It isn’t exactly a subscription limit, but a limit by your box type. The base game contains all of the World of Warcraft expansions up through Dragonflight, which has a level cap of 70.

To level beyond that you’ll need to pick up the War Within expansion.

If you thought you had bought The War Within, make sure you applied it to the correct license (or WoW1, WoW2, etc) on your account.

It looks like you very recently upgraded to the War Within expansion, so once maintenance is over you should be able to continue leveling.

It does look like your previous purchase attempts failed back on the 12th, which might be why you were originally asking this question. I don’t see any issues with the latest one.

Your license should be tagged for TWW after maintenance and your leveling cap should be off as soon as you log into the game. (Although you may need to be freshly logged into the launcher first; sometimes it doesn’t get refeshed immediately with account status changes.)
