New rewards don’t increase XP gains lol.
“If you want to slow down your leveling speed, just follow this checklist of menial tasks so that you can simulate the feeling of meaningful leveling progression without all the things that actually make a leveling experience feel worthwhile.”
Lol sounds like you want to play a single player RPG that is strictly leveling and story.
There was one MMO that focused leveling and story. That MMO crashed out hard due to not prioritizing end game.
Yes, saying that the benefit of leveling in a video game is leveling is saying I want to play a single player RPG.
Did you only recently stop using velcro on your shoes?
There is no benefit to a long slog of leveling in WoW. It’s streamlined in classic and retail.
If you wish to strictly level characters as your content then go play elder scrolls. Be well.
More than welcome to point out where I said anything about wanting to level any characters. Since you clearly can’t read, that might be a challenge though lol.
Yes, that is correct.
Current leveling can work fine for both parties because you have options to make it longer/harder if you want to.
You must be referring to Final Fantasy XIV.
No wait, that game’s actually doing quite well for itself. Then obviously, you’re referring to ESO.
Oh, that’s not a particularly great example either. It’s clearly doing well also.
Then you must be talking about Guild Wars 2.
Wait, they just had one of their largest content updates to the game in August of last year?
Strange lmao
I guess sarcasm is really lost on people, even when you spell it out for them explicitly so lmao
Sorry as a almost 20 year veteran of the game leveling has become an annoyance last thing I want to do is a slog for the 100th time
Neat.
You’re not wrong, but…retail is no longer about the journey. It’s all endgame. It has been for a long time.
I think a good solution for people looking for a satisfying leveling progression is through an overhaul of Chromie Time.
I think there should be a “slow mode” option when leveling.
ah, so proof that you don’t have anything valid to say.
Thanks, you proved that I won.
Either read my comment and adress my point or admit you have no argument against me and that I’m right.
and tell me, who would be willing to grind that over and over and over and OVER again?
After the first few times, you lose all motivation to do it again.
After those first few times, you know everything
and that BG3 example you used? I wonder how people get past that? Oh right, there are literally mods that make you mega OP from the start to blitz your way through, mods to give the ability to literally teleport to act 3. And these are the mods that have hundreds of thousands of downloads. So this proves my point further.
hell an in-game function is skipping dialogue to make the process faster after the first time.
I miss having my 300% exp bonus from elixers and hierloom gear back in WoD
I just came back maybe a week ago from not playing since Legion because my friend had never played and was wanting to play I was so mad when I seen all my looms were knocked back down to 29-39 range and exp bonuses gone my friend had bought a wow token to have the gold to buy looms for faster leveling the day before I redownloaded the game
Looks these days are ok, but they don’t offer the xp boost anymore
World of Warcraft (WoW) is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), but some say it’s designed more like an action role-playing game (ARPG)
Insightful. Thanks for telling me some people think it’s an ARPG.
What point were you making, exactly? The only thing you mentioned was people wanting to level another class for whatever reason which I already addressed: you either level it or don’t lol.
Did you even remember what you typed lol?
They are pretty much unnecessary entirely since the XP situation changed.
I prefer the speed leveling we have now. I dont want to go back to days where Im even considering paying $60 for a boost…or taking a LOT longer to level one, or having to slog thru every expansion.
They should put a rep/renown bonus on the looms or something to make them ‘worth it’, otherwise there isnt any motivation at all to ever buy or update them ever again.
Because it is. You’re welcome.
