“TBC wasn’t built around flying mounts…except for when it’s built around flying mounts.”
I’ll tell you right now what’ll happen with no flying mounts. You’ll see endless spam for people selling summoning services to bring players all around Outland. It’ll be a huge business. The Trade channel will be more alive; the world won’t be.
And the last part of your sentence makes no sense. Not having flying mounts means more max level players will gank lowbies? lolwut?
He is trying to say, flying mounts only serve to gank lower level players.
They 100% dont help ppl get around the world at all, or up to dungeons / raids / impossible to reach herbs / ore / quests / mobs / areas / farming spots.
I can go through and get actual clips where I dive into 1v5s if you want me to, but these were just ones that I thought were funny or whatever and transferred from Twitch to YouTube.

Fact is you should be on a PVE server if you don’t like PVP.
Sometimes it’s on your terms, sometimes it’s on their terms.
Sometimes you can rally your faction behind you like I did in The Badlands yesterday when the Horde murdered the Alliance off of the Northern Rock Elementals so the Horde could get their quests done.
We kept them out for 2 hours while we all farmed those stupid shards.
Maybe play the game instead of hiding inside instances all the way to 60 and then complaining when you actually have to have some PVP on a PVP server.
You rolled on a PVP server for a reason if it isn’t to engage in wPVP you should be on a PVE server.
I’m not here to critique anyone’s gameplay. I couldn’t care less. But it’s his arguments that are the true failing.
The more I think about it the more I realize that flying mounts increases exactly what he wants: ganking lowbies. So it’s strange to me he would be against it. There’s more ‘pvp’ with flying mounts.
As far as max level in TBC…who’s doing world pvp? This is the Classic playerbase. They go where the gear is. They do what’s most efficient. So if you take away flying mounts, they’ll just find other ways to whisk themselves around the world to get to wherever they want to be. At least if they’re out on a flying mount there’s a chance they’ll see other players, swoop down and who knows what’ll happen.
If you use Deadly Boss Mods you can’t criticise my having Error Sounds on.
You can’t even see most of my binds dog.
Trounced by who?
The people like you who AFK in the AV cave for the honor because they don’t want PVP in their PVP grind?
Your reading comprehension is poor.
Fact is you’re some PVE dork who rolled on a PVP server because “Good players roll on PVP servers” when in realise you’re likely some gray parser with delusions of grandeur who complains that they got rogued outside of Mara.
Killing Greens isn’t killing lowbies.
Killing lowbies is killing grays.
Greens can fight back.
Should I get some clips of myself jumping red level players or ?? players and beating them?
Would that satisfy you?
The people who rolled on a PVP server to PVP instead of hiding on the capital cities doing BGs and actively avoiding any and all wPVP unless they’re part of a deathball raid.
You’re not wrong.
This is why we saw Gold boosts and GDKP spread like wildfire during Classic.
People don’t actually want to play WoW they want to get all the purple pixels and then AFK in Org/SW while waiting for their BG timer to pop so they can deathball in the middle of WSG and then give up because the other team capped first.
It’d be the same as Classic is right now with Warlock taxis and Mages portaling people everywhere.
The world itself would have people kicking around and doing things on it instead of lying over it though.
Ok, what are you trying to say here? So with flying mounts in TBC you can swoop down and kill greens. You take away flying mounts and you’ll be running around and meeting FAR fewer green players to fight.
No, what I’m saying is that flying mounts only end up with people who are leveling getting bullied by bored level 70s.
Kinda like how bored level 60s go camp redridge.
Except in the case of redridge if they(the lowbies) all organised they could mob the level 60 like a raid boss.
You can’t mob someone that swoops down, kills one person, and then flies away.
I didn’t say they would be. I said that’s about the only other thing you CAN do. Well, that or redesign TBC entirely so every landmass is connected, or build long bridges to connect to the areas you can’t reach with a ground mount…which is a LOT of areas.
Take your pick of what to complain about when there is no flying.
There’s all kinds of way to address that.
If you attack a player you get flagged so you can’t use a flying mount for x amount of time.
If you fly you get a debuff that limits you in some way: you can’t gain honor. Maybe it weakens you against players. Whatever.
I’m not in favor of any of that…but for a Seasonal server set in TBC there’s a lot of possibilities. But this is an authentic re-release of Classic. If you don’t like flying mounts, then stick to the version that doesn’t have flying mounts.
The biggest thing is the sheer lack of people in the world due to the flying mount.
Even in Vanilla you still see 60s on their epics running around collecting herbs.
You don’t get that in TBC because of the flying mounts.
You might catch a glimpse of one taking the ore node you’ve been fighting to get to for 5 minutes or see one dive on you, but other than that you don’t really see other people while leveling besides other questers.
It has dual spec and they’re fixing old bugs(Frontstabbing Rogues[Fixed in Classic] and Frontshredding Druids[Fixed in Anniversary]).
It has the LFG tool.
It has the Chronoboon(First new item in 20 years) something that was added during classic due to the massive amount of tears from PVErs getting their buffs dispelled.
