Where you need flying to get to dungeons/raids instead have portals that can be unlocked through a questline

We don’t need flying. It just ruins the world.
Also no arena or that terrible new BG thing they added.
Also only 40 man raids and make them easier.

As a big BC lover, after all these years I see how fly mount changed the game for bad. Flying killed all the fun and unique interactions that happens when everybody is on the ground and essentially killed wpvp. Flying is one of the few flaws of the best expansion ever, TBC.
Unfortunately, I don’t see Blizzard understanding it at this point. Same way they couldn’t understand us asking for classic in 2010. So maybe another 4-5 years and they start to get it.

BC was the greatest. One of the things that gave it its unique identity was flying immediately at level cap, assuming you could afford it. This was very exciting and actually created some unique wpvp opportunities. The zones were probably designed with this in mind, so it makes no sense to take it away. I’ll walk away though now, as I am not needed here, there is no way blizz would make this bad of a decision.

Flying didn’t kill wpvp. There’s still plenty of it in TBC. There’s people who refuse to play on a pvp realm anymore because of the wpvp that happened in TBC and TBC classic.
You just lack creativity in how you fight. There’s nothing that makes me laugh more when someone gets dismounted and falls to their death after they thought they were safe in the air. Because they are not safe at all.
People still have to land to quest. They still have to land to herb/mine/fish(pls don’t kill fishermen) and get into dungeons and raids. People have to land to take towers.

it’s a good idea but it would require too much work to retrofit TBC for no flying 
blizzard won’t do it
falling from the sky onto people is not good world pvp
They should get rid of flying but bring dragon riding mechanics to ground mounts where you can dash for more speed and max ground speed will be + 200-300%
This wha you can still travel fast but gives options for pvp and player interactions
we need lvl 60 outlands with no flying in sod tbh
they’re adding stuff to these realms not taking away, lol. cant you tell?

too late, you already got dual spec, boosting will be there also and you’re going to like it. Best we can hope for is WoW2 to get it right

Flying has almost nothing to do with WPVP. If you want WPVP, then remove BGs, so that WPVP is the only way to gain honor.
It’s rather strange to anyone make the claim that flying is correlated to WPVP or lack thereof, especially considering how close to Classic we are, and even have active Classic servers. Where’s all the WPVP now?

TBC is built around flying. And it didn’t destroy world pvp. BGs did.
By the way, Blizz tried removing flying from WoD. They lost 5 million subs in less than a year.
