You telling me you kill a boss in BFD, see if anyone is livelogging in your group and then kick them out? Or you point blank ask the group of anyone is logging then kick them?Brother most runs are logged without people noticing.
You’re lying and a troll, probably not even playing the game.
It doesn’t need defending, but people fail to realize why GKP exists. Players want a tradable currency they can use with raid drop gear. DKP was an attempt to make one, but it’s only useful with the 1 guild running it. Outside that 1 guild, whatever points you have are useless. Even if another guild runs DKP, your points won’t transfer from guild A to guild B. It’s also easy to abuse since whoever is in charge of it can add or remove points at will. There needs to be a global currency that is useful to everyone and can’t be abused.
Well, it turns out there already was one. It’s called gold. Players realized that instead of trying to invent some silly point system, they could just use already existing gold. Blizzard could have rewarded boss kills with a TRADABLE token, but they didn’t, so players are forced to use gold.
Clowns like this are against trading gold for raid drops not realizing how illogical or hypocritical this is. Do you use the auction house? Do you buy or sell ANYTHING with other players? Then you, in effect, are saying that you yourself should be banned.
This one wants players banned for trading gold with real money, which is equally dumbfounded. Gold represents time/work, the same thing real money represents. A currency exchange is not a crime. What you’re saying is, that if you move from country A to country B, it should be illegal for them to trade the currency, because the work you did while in country A is now magically deleted. Fortunately, in the real world, they don’t do that. They’ll just trade the currency. In a game, when you do this, it’s called RMT, and there is nothing wrong with that. The only problem was Blizzard not getting revenue from it. This problem is solved by the token. Blizzard had to learn the hard way (twice) that you they shouldn’t be trying to stop RMT. They should be trying to get the revenue off it.
I don’t care to discuss religion on the world of Warcraft forums. Any more replies to me about Santa and Spiderman and all other fictional characters will be ignored from this point on.
RMT through a token would work pretty well if They made the token a fixed price and never dropped below a gold sellers price, and always adjusted for it.
But spending $20 for 4k in wotlk when you could buy 20k gold with $20. the math dont math up.
People still buy gold even with tokens. All you’re achieving selling gold legally is getting into some bidding war with the botters. They’ll always undercut you and they will always have customers. What you actually need to do is ban people who buy gold and bring back live GMs to WITNESS the botting going on and perma ban them directly. No tolerance policy. Permanent ban first offense. See how brave people feel ruining the game then.
So this is an MMO. Selfish people like yourself do not fit into this community, you never have. You are labled a “loot-wh**re”
You said things like why would i waste my time raiding and helping others get gear…you were also helped to get where you are…you did not clear the raid by yourself…its a team game, everyone has a chance at loot.
As far as your chance to get an item, if all you focus on is yourself and your loot (which is not yours by the way, to be clear) then you are not playing the game. The community is what makes this rpg what it is. The thrill of the hunt is fun too, but its not everything and when you base your self worth and enjoyment just on that, you get this crap.
Players breaking ToS so they can buy the loot they want. Not considering how this effects the entire game, flooded bots and scammers stealing peoples accounts to use them for running bots, farming gold to sell on thier websites.
No more GDKP. You guys are not wow players you are legitimate losers.
