Cuz hes a grey parser.

I love gdkps.

The only appropriate tool to do any of the classic raids is oxygen. anything more and you’re no better than the tryhards that min maxed retail into a pile of garbage.

and who knows if im a gray parser. i make groups for everything i do, and if i notice anyone logging we call it out, find the person and kick them or disband the group. none of that crap. its cringe.

You lose pretty much any leverage to complain about bots if you think GDKP should stay.

Everyone playing the game “indirectly” facilitates gold buying.

Have you ever had an auction bought by a person who has bought gold? You, as the seller, should be banned.

Have you ever bought an auction from a person who has bought gold? You should be banned.

Partied with someone who has ever bought gold? Ban.

Played on the same server as a gold buyer, therefore sharing a joint online ecosystem? Ban.

God I love when the bads lash out.

It’s amazing really, you people dedicate your life to this game and still suck after 20 years.

“Consumable gatekeepers” my brother in Christ lmao

It’s crazy that it literally seems to only be all far below average players who hate gdkps on these forums.

It happens so much it can’t be just a coincidence, there has to be a correlation

Think you got the wrong topic, this is about GDKP… not RMT.

People that are bad at the game usually don’t get invited into GDKPs so they hate the system and do posts like this one.

GDKP is just the DKP system without actually have to stick with one group which causes the problem described above.

RMT has multiple causes:

  • Buy pre-raid bis items in the AH, which sometimes are stupidly high price (hello Humbert’s Helm)
  • Buy consumables (they are pretty expensive if you only raid, you spend on average 2g per bfd and it will get worse each phase)
  • Buy gear on GDKPs
  • Buy gold sink items such as mounts and collectibles
  • Buy boosts
  • Buy carries for blue items (WC and SFK are really popular)
    And so on.

Blizzard really needs to step up and perma ban gold sellers/bot army and remove the gold from the system. Gold buyers also need to be penalized, having suspensions and getting everything bought with that gold removed.

If those 2 were enforced heavily, all the above wouldn’t be bad, because playing with the economy is part of the game (I’ve made 300g just fishing in desolace and getting big iron poles as horde). But realistically, blizzard doesn’t have enough manpower to enforce their own ToS

RMT and RMT are the same thing.

I have a Zulian Tiger.

You don’t.

You’re too poor to have one.

I hate GDKP, remove it. It’s bad for the game.

In my eyes, if you need GDKP because you’re too cowardly to roll, you’re a bad player.

Ah, the truth revealed at last. Landwhales mad others are better than them at a video game. Sad.

I mean those are extreme, but anyone who sells a garbage BoE for 20g or a good BoE for 200g and cashes that check has to know they just got RMT money. You can be damn sure real players don’t pay 35g dir mediocre ore-raid items and yet the supposed champions of goodness overcharge their BoEs knowing full well what they are doing.

The only real difference is envy of the GDKPers. These forum warriors have bad parses and little gold so they get left out and suffer in 5/7 pugs and become bitter and resentful of better players. They thought they were champions of good but they’ve gone full dark side.

What’s there to envy?

If anything, I feel shame for those people, unable to just /roll.

And nah, no one is envying a person that got rich in a video game. That money has literally no purpose other than to flash at others, and to outbid.

IRL, it’s probably worth a few dollars lol.

Thank god I stay far away from GDKPs, and earn every single item they ‘buy’, for free.

Do people envy whales, or pity them?

They are though.

Definitely envy.

This is just Poverty Crusade 2: Season of Poverty. It failed during TBC Classic and it will fail again.

Yeah, I’m definitely feeling envy for that top Diablo Immortal player.

Definitely not pity, none whatsoever lol.

I was always poor, but got the fancy, most-sought after WoW items because I was lucky.

Lucky > Being Rich, because it was all for free.

Who are you trying to convince? Certainly not me, perhaps you are trying to convince yourself so you can move on from those bitter feelings you have, lol.

People envy me all the time, asking about my tabard and whatnot.

/flex

I’ll always be poor, never a whale, just playing it and earning it for real.

Clearly if someone is against something you are, they must be bitter. /s

Not sure why you replied to me tbh. Didn’t ask.
