Let people chose, give us two versions of HC

I completely disagree and argue that since no one really knows what version will be most popular in the long run, it is wise to release them both, separate.
To see the full potential of both. And let community naturally decide which version they will play

Why does it matter if you’re playing on a server thats “twinked out” if you’re playing SSF

Under the rules of SSF you aren’t allowed to interact with those players in the first place

Your argument doesn’t make any logical sense

why u think people who wanna play SSF are looking for servers who are SSF?

Might not make sense to you, but for a lot of people the ultimate dream is a permadeath SSF server where every player obeys the same rules

It’s like asking a person who wants a blue t-shirt: “why does it matter if the t-shirt is red and not blue?”
Like, yes, it doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of the universe, but I still want the blue shirt

Your copy paste response youve said like 5 times now doesn’t address the point being made

ditto. Why are you obsessed with there not being a SSF server?

No not difficult. SSF will likely be a community backed achievement within that player base. Much like it is now with the addon. Blizzards endeavor is simply confirmation of 0 deaths with little changes to the code. Atleast that’s what I gathered from the Aggrend interview.

Here’s to me voicing that there is a solid chunk of people who’s dream is a whole SSF permadeath server, and I believe it will be longtime stable  and at the very least definitively worth a shot for Blizzard!

Not saying nothing should be restricted. Just that you won’t end up happy if you dream of a server where boosting/twinking never happens.

Already have people floating ideas of an account wide bank with SSF so you can share amongst your alts.

These are people you’ll be playing with on SSF servers. Think they won’t twink if they can figure out how to do it?

Death = delete and AH removal I think are all that’s necessary to accommodate everyone. SSF lovers can self enforce and the AH removal will bring more social interaction for those who don’t want SSF as well as neuter an RMT outlet.

lets be honest. thats what most liekely will happen.

but they also said the PTR for HC will be out sooner then we expect. if its only death=delete i wouldve expected it out by now. we will see i still have hope.

To see the full potential of what whole server obeying the SSF rules would look like, you need that server released
it just might end up being the most successful in the long run, and it would be a shame to not see it realized

id be fine with AH removal, no gold tradesand dung lockouts all below 60.

“I dont want to play next to people not playing SSF and only want to be surrounded with other SSF players even though the rules of SSF forbid me with interacting with those players anyway regardless of if they are SSF or not”

The entire premise of your argument is just an OCD nitpick about what other people you’re not even allowed to interact with in any meaningful way are doing with their own playthrough.

It might not make sense to you.
And by the way your whole obsession of arguing to not release an SSF server is alsy quite OCD nitpick whatever that means

the environment matter. if u wanna do dungeon runs it matters. if u wanna build clean 60 communitys it matters (since the addon can easily be chated).
if i wanna play onoly death=delete what is there even a official HC server for? only death=delete needs no extra server u can self impose that on any excisting classic server.

official HC should be unique and build a lasting home for real HC players not just some poeple who have nothing better to do and joining because they crave a fresh server.

Using your same logic you can self enforce SSF anywhere (as people already are) so why do we need a HC SSF server for it?

because the server is only made because the poeple who played like that. without the addon community there would be no HC hype at all.
and bc the addon can easiliy be cheated.
and bc of the longevity aspect.

You can!
No one says it is impossible.
We’re arguing that it is a dream for a chunk of people to have the whole server obey the same rules. And furthermore, it might turn out to be a successful server in the long run! But we won’t see that unless it’s released

I wouldn’t say none at all.

HC runs were a thing even way back in vanilla. People called em different things then and didn’t use add ons either but they were a thing even then.

I changed this a bit because it’s exactly what SSF players are experiencing on the RP server. They are not welcome.
Having a server for both play styles eliminates this friction.
How would having a server for each affect you enough to be against having a choice.
I doubt they would bother doing this but if they did, how does that hurt your gameplay?
