Itll be funny after 6 months of release when HC people are asking for a fresh HC server to try and regain some hype and get people back to playing it.

thats the cool thing about a SSF server. every char that is created has to strat “fresh”.

Doubt Blizzard codes in SSF. The restriction imposed will be limited to whats already in the games engine (ie dungeon lockouts, exp gains). They’ll take that route rather than coding in level caps per dungeon. Thing’s they can backspace out the game like petri flask, and obviously resurrect is about as far as it’ll go.
well the HC community runs strong for a long time now and still after announcement of official HC servers there are many people starting new chars over and over on the current unofficial servers.
Surely it can’t be that difficult to code in SSF? 
Lest say that Blizzard is okay with separate servers. Are you anti SSF gonna get your britches in a bunch if SSF was separated? What would be the downside for you personally if those SSF players have their own playground?
Of course they won’t. Too much for a low effort high returns company to manage.

SSF servers will end in the same place as non SSF servers either way.

Half the streamers bringing hype to hardcore are already clearly burned out on it and are playing purely for the community meta aspect

Right now sure.
On HC launch it won’t be if they only do one server. You may have small fragments sticking to BSB with the add on but I imagine even they will switch when they can’t field a full raid team.

So play with me on this:
What we know: permadeath is growing. Some people want “unlimited”, some people want SSF.
What we don’t know: what people want in the future.
If we don’t release seperate servers we will never see the true potential for whatever server we don’t release

I saw more people in regular Era servers last night than I have on the HC chosen server.
It may be “booming” but it’s still niche. Honestly doubt they’ll be enough players to fill 2 servers of og vanilla playerbase (2-3k pop per server).
Would love to be wrong.
