There are people in your camp who want to xfer off after 60 as well as people who want an account wide bank to give items to their own Alts… so why does SSF need a server again?
A death = permanent server with a SSF toggle on character creation that the SSF players all play on has that same potential PLUS more because it also accommodates people that dont want the strict rules.
Why does EZcore need one?
You already have a place to play regular rules.
So you can’t cheat deaths.
I don’t know what you guys are talking about with 60’s transferring to another server, and I certainly hope that in any official permadeath server, death is death and not transfer. That would be a huge disappointment to me.
However, this is a topic for another forum post imo
It may well be, that a whole SSF server would have a specific unique dynamic because of the ruleset, that it would be more successful in the long term. No one knows, but it’s definitively worth a short imo, given the hype for permadeath right now!
Same reason you think SSF needs one. Ultimately it comes down to one simple rule change accommodates everybody. Cause no one in the SSF or “EZcore” community has a server that works for them without some honesty and integrity.
I’d even say removal of AH would be another change they could make that both SSF and HC players would like.
If it’s just deaths then they can do that on a death =permanent server.
Just the addon alone does not indicate you’ve never died. I hear it can be cheated. This is the only reason I see for making the servers at all.
Yep, and you can play your everything goes on a normal server with a buff that shows your status.
By the way, I do agree with no AH. It’s not conducive to a social community.
Everybody and everyone “can just do anything on any server” (well, you can’t be a Blood Elf on an Era server).
What I argue is that permadeath as a mode, could potentially have a better longterm stability on it’s own server, as opposed to people using the addon on a regular server. Because the whole dynamic of the server would be different.
Building on this, we see that a visible amount of permadeath enjoyers want SSF rules. I would argue that a whole SSF server could potentially show to be yet even more unique server dynamic and have the potential for even more longterm stability. Given that it gets the chance at all!
I mean it can also be cheated to allow trade and the add on doesn’t invalidate on grouping in overworld either.
So if your basing anything off the add on you would call everyone using it EZcore since it ultimately requires integrity still.
Just one change accommodates everyone. So why split a small community even smaller?

Edit/update:
I also disagree in this being a “small community”
It may well be that a server where you’re only allowed to play auto attack gnome warrior would be more successful long term
Who knows what the future holds, its worth a shot!
Come on blizzard, pay for new servers, i got a gut feeling that this has huge potential
slim chance I would imagine!
I agree that a perma death server is needed.
However I disagree on the 2nd point as everything I’m seeing shows that more people are for perma death and not SSF. A large amount of people playing with the addon are only doing so because it’s the only way to participate in the HC community at the moment. No add on and no one will group with you even if you’re playing HC by your own rules.
Exactly, now you’re starting to get it
Right, that’s another reason there should be a place for SSF players. You folks say just use the addon, but it can be cheated. If a server is coded so grouping is only allowed for dungeons and no trading allowed then you can’t cheat.
I disagree. But i believe 2 separate servers would be a wise decision by Blizzard, because of how different dynamics they will inherit.
Sure lets split the community for something like SSF which could literally be tracked with an addon just like every other challenge and achieve we currently use the addon for, If you want to SSF all you need to do is SSF. Do you really need recognition for it? Ego’s are so fragile that everyone want’s they’re own version of WoW but also want’s to be patted on the back for it, Can we not just play the game with HC turned on?
The addon can be cheated.
Those same restrictions could simply be attached to a buff on the perma death servers
No cheating, no need for 2 servers
