What prestige? There was a solid year at the end where mage tower was free for anyone with a functioning brain.

Nah, there are lots of other things you can use it’s ok not to have access to a few things, but if they did add them back then I’d expect them to add everything ever removed which they won’t so I don’t see them going down this slippery slope when it comes to exclusive stuff like that he mage tower and challenge modes. Also the guy behind the remixes left the company so hopefully this gives Ion who doesn’t want mage tower skins back more say in the future of remix.

FOMO content honestly sucks and for those of us who missed out on these during Legion it would be probably one of the coolest things blizzard could do.

I’m so tired of these requests. They get shut down constantly, Blizzard constantly says no and people ask this question like it hasn’t been addressed 100 times already.

So? That doesn’t mean they can’t throw us a bone this time. Besides challenge dungeons are quite different from the Mage Tower experience and Mage Tower is something that you can STILL do for some different rewards during Legion Timewalking.

Actually, no. That’s exactly what it means. It’s called precedent. If Blizzard brought back Legion mage tower because people can’t accept and move on, then they’d eventually have to bring everything back and nothing would be special. Special rewards make up less than 1% of this game. You can live without this one thing. Just like I can live without WoD CM’s. You’ll be alright.

As much as I love my Fire Mage I hate all the skins are swords. Wish it had the Titanstrike touch and could turn into a fire staff.

Would be game to see recolors and potentially a new skin.

There is nothing “too much”. Just because you can collect them it doesn’t mean people will use them. I rather have everything open for every player, so you can see how they truly want to reflect their game avatar.

I still regret not getting the ghost cat form at the end of Legion because I forgot about the Mage Tower until it was too late. It would be nice to have another chance at the druid forms and some of the other artifact weapon appearances.

Sell it all for bronze. The people that care are weirdos.

That’s a good option, too. Maybe sell them for about 20k bronze each so that they can be easily obtainable on one character with enough effort.

If they didn’t bend on the challenge mode sets for MOP Remix then I don’t expect them to do the same here.

Honestly, I wish this game didn’t have such a toxic limited time only culture fomented by developers, but this has persisted for many years at this point.

It’s a legacy mindset that I’d happily see abolished.

No it wasn’t. I’m all for bringing the weapon appearance back but this is just nonsense.

I’m a legion baby who played the game at the time with 0 guides, no sims, random talents and random gear. I saw a wep look I liked and went in there and ran it down with ease. I believe It was the final patch or soon to be argus…

Not to mention you eventually got your wep maxed out by blizzard, and even a legendary vendor… so you easily outgeared the whole thing.

And even then at the end with OP artifact buffed weapon people still could not complete a desired Mage Tower.

My main account has all 36 done and i did it not at the start but before the end with buffed OP weapons.

They are for those who were good enough to know the classes at the time. Think about that. All 36 classes. And do it. Some yes, were cale, but there were some toughies still.

The OG Mage Tower colors will he locked forever.

Honestly, I feel like they could even compromise a bit… If you did an original challenge when it was current, you can earn the appearance of other classes if you missed out or didn’t play something at the time…

I only played priest back then and I was very new to the game, first time really playing, so there was a lot for me to learn… So I really only played one single class(priest) and that was the only one I did the challenge on.

None of that mattered by the end of the patch… You just outgeared the entire challenge… If anyone could not complete it even by then… then idk what to say.

Completed and maxed out, full power artifacts… 2 legendary pieces you can buy off a vendor. Idk if there was anything else that boosted you up a ton besides tier sets.
