Simple Request. Bring back Mage Tower Artifact appearances for Legion Remix. FOMO content honestly sucks and for those of us who missed out on these during Legion it would be probably one of the coolest things blizzard could do.

So? That doesn’t mean they can’t throw us a bone this time. Besides challenge dungeons are quite different from the Mage Tower experience and Mage Tower is something that you can STILL do for some different rewards during Legion Timewalking.
“But it’s unfair to the people who had to actually try hard to get it during Legion!”
How so? It was hard for one phase and then for the rest of Legion it was a cake-walk because you out-geared the content significantly and blizzard forgot to add scaling to it until it was a part of Legion Timewalking.

So they’re most likely not going to spend the time to fuss with that scaling nightmare either. And Evokers don’t even have the ability to do the Mage Tower, as far as I know.
Remix is something to toss out there as easy filler content they don’t spend much time on. Trying to scale challenges is a lot of time they aren’t going to take just for a lol-mode.

I mean the entire idea of the remix we’ve had was that your character becomes absurdly overpowered. So scaling would be necessary if they want the rewards to retain any prestige at all.

Just had an idea.
We had the cloak in Mists for our threads. This time around, make it a class weapon for our threads and maybe make them a few recolors of the MT appearances.

It’s not so much the prestige, as much as it’s going to be just any type of scaling whatsoever for yet another mode of MT for all of those classes and specs— again. And for Evokers.

Recolors could be good like in case of Guardian, but the original rewards maybe too much.

Not nonsense - I returned in Antorus, unlocked 2x legendary items, spammed LFR and heroics for gear and whatever the legendary currency was, then ran the hunter MM and BM tower and one shot both, neither taking more than about a minute.
I know all were not that much of a gimmie - but the fact remains they were a hard challenge when added at the beginning of the tier before, but two tiers of gear + more artifact power + 2X legendary items + the extra artifact power from the doodad on the ship on Argus.

Yep. Some were, some weren’t. It took me the entire time the Mage Tower existed to get through the Resto Druid challenge. I still have PTSD from it.

No, it is true. I did 2 classes in teh first week and it was a decent challenge
did 6 more in the last patch and they were all a joke in comparison. Current mage tower is harder than that, since you can’t overgear it
as for the topic at hand, no need to attach it to remix, just put the rewards back in the current mage tower

If I recall correctly, most of the complaints about ‘difficulty’ when I came back in late Legion were tank and healer challenges - not the dps ones.
I’d have to look to see, but I think I did maybe warlock and pally as well as hunter (all dps), though maybe pally was the one I spent all my time doing Balance of Power (which I thought was going away).
I thought about doing some other classes like BDK and druid, but it seemed the amount of time I’d have to spend leveling, leveling the artifact, compleing the class hall campaigns, and getting geared was more than I had available - so I focused on the ones I’ve played the most over the years.
Side note - I miss the old UI that showed all the artifact appearances by the various sources - I use several on my characters but have no idea which ones were base or tower or pvp or whatever.

Most likely. I didn’t try any of the others except Balance Druid on the last day after I got the Resto one finally finished. And with that… I ran around in a circle and spammed Moonfire and Sunfire. Took me three tries.
So what you’re saying is you never actually did the mage tower in legion.

That must have been the same one as one of the hunter specs.
I remember some adds or something that chased me with a boss in the middle of the room and running in a circle spamming abilities till the boss fell over dead.

They didn’t bring back the CM sets for MoP remix, i doubt they will bring back the mage tower appearances either.
