Cant even rememeber how many times…dozens at least.
I run over to Chromie, click the Legion expansion. Chromie gives me the quest to run outside orgrimmar and meet up with the quest NPC who gives me the shortcut to Dalaran to turn in the quest for the Legion Dalaran hearthstone.
NOW when I click the Legion expansion Chromie is giving me a quest that shows an Aszuna location and the NPC outside orgrimmar isnt showing any quest turn in or showing anything to do with Legion

PLEASE tell me this is a flippin bug and Ion hasnt started hosing crap again.

This is a new character so its not able to get into Valdrakken but maybe its related, hopefully.
Wont let me do the Draenor start quest either. I mean, there IS a quest there, but its like skip is gone for both now
That portal now has a minimum level of 45 to be interacted with. Prior to that level, the quest they give sub 45’s is the “return to Legion” one, which assumes you have already gotten your Dalaran hearthstone and entered your class hall. Holgar (Horde, forget the name of the Alliance guy) who is supposed to send you to the Broken Shore or Dalaran has nothing to say to you at that point.
On turning level 45, you may use the portal to Azsuna and fly yourself to Dalaran. Your class hall emissary will automatically appear for you now, and your Dalaran Hearthstone toy will work.
I know all this because I rolled a new character the other day, had to take a fishing raft to get to Frostfire Ridge to open a garrison at level 12, because that breadcrumb quest has also been removed. Then at 16 took the quest to Legion but had no way of getting there but being summoned to a dungeon, which did not permit any questing but a few side quests. At 45 I was able to interact with the portal, went to Dalaran, and the quest to open a class hall popped there.

Yep, others have been reporting this too. There’s a LOT of stuff messed up. Make sure you post it in Bug Reports.

So have they removed the skips for legion and WoD now?
Ive run it many dozens of times…the Legion skip is just that quick NPC hookup outside orgimmar then you get ported to Dalaran, turn in the quest and get the Dalaran Hearthstone

Sorry…just cant tell where the discussion is headed. This is a brand new character.

They removed the entry questlines and substituted the “return to” questlines. My character, on entering Dalaran, was met by the class hall emissary to directly begin the class hall questing. No skip was offered or needed. I can’t be sure what would happen if I was a new player who had never done any Legion content before.
My feeling is that this was intentional.

Im NOT doing a bunch of WoD and legion content again for Ions amusement lol

I made a new void elf, started in Nighthold at level 10 I believe, got a quest to go to Org to talk to Chromie, chose Legion, quest said to go to the Broken Isles. I went through the nighthold portal by Chromie, got an automatic turn in, and nothing else happened. I don’t know where to go. I went through the Dalaran portal from nighthold but the only quest I can get is from the pet shop. That character is still level 10 and I don’t know how to get the questlines started. Thought timewalking was to make so any character could level in any expansion?

My feeling is that Legion and WoD are the most popular questing zones, as well as two that are gated by a breadcrumb quest. Perhaps they’re hoping to increase MoP remix participation by convincing levelers that’s now a better option.
I just want the hearthstone. lol. Just Like Ive been getting it since they made the skips.
No intention of doing a bunch of questing for that hearthstone on every new character.
I just wont be making any new alts because without those hearths, Im not interested in waiting for my hearthstone to cool down and Im NOT running a bunch of either of those expansions to get either stone.
Hopefully this is a bug.
if not, I guess my alt rolling days have finally ended.
I did not get a new hearthstone at level 45. I was able to use the one I had in my toy box.

i’ll check to see if those work but last time I did without running the skips they just gave me some error.

I’ve only started one new character since the change, and I have no older characters to test this on. I’m reluctant to hearth out and take a risk on a low level not being able to hearth back.
The Mists quest from Chromie seems to be the same. Im gonna try SL next.
Legion and WoD are both borked
edit…yeah, the SL skip was the same…shot me straight into Oribos like before. AND the Orgrimmar portal was already there to be used.
Edit…BFA skip is working perfect too…Nathanos skips me right over to BFA content
Just seems to be Legion and WoD skips that are trashed.
The Dalaran hearth still works on a level 10 who has previously started their class hall.

so not a character level thing, obviously.
First thing when I get a new alt is level to 10 or so if need to, then run get the Legion dalaran and Garrison stones.
Till today its not been a problem.
I mean, Ive literally leveled four characters to 59 and locked them this week, lol.
No problems until today.
The issue is the removal of the breadcrumb quest that starts the class hall. And in wod, transports the player to an instanced version of the Dark Portal. You can still get to the site of your future garrison in WoD to open it and begin questing, but Legion content is locked hard behind that quest.
