So how does “paying attention to a mechanic” that will instantly kill those who don’t have a dash support your argument that seconds don’t matter when it is important to get a boss down ASAP so that mechanic doesn’t go off?
Ion told us that the only difference was going to the disabling of corruptions, and if we noticed any difference, that was it. I was skeptical, since Ion says a lot of things. I am not surprised to hear he was lying, but I have not had the opportunity to test this myself, as a player who doesn’t use corruptions so they wouldn’t be the difference for me.

If you paid attention to mechanics to know what they are, then you know what needs to be done to beat it: take more people with you. Seriously, one more person is all you need.
It’s the final raid of Legion. In a bare bones spec. Where a patch just dropped. You can solve your problem with one friend until you can gain more levels.

The nerf sucks big time. Doing current content island expos just roic never been a problem till this power nerf no where near the relative power we had.
I know its always this way but cant remember like this for current content.
makes it no fun at all. work for more than 2 years to get to where we are and it feels like it was for nothing now. It would be different if it were SL starting out but it is still BFA.

During the first half of BfA Coven could be soloed because the bosses no longer became immune and turned pink when grouped. They returned this mechanic later on all difficulties, making the entire raid not soloable without an extra player or tanking pet.
Did you take in count the corruption being gone though? I did a lot of test before the pre-patch both with and without corruption and I do seem to kill thing as fast as I did without corruption before the pre-patch.
So this is to be expected in my opinion since Corruptions helped a crap ton they got deactivated and we got nothing in return, however I will admit that we do take more damage than before.

No doubt they were counting on people not having a frame of comparison. What are squishes all about but to remove that frame of reference?
This is Blizzard we are talking about, and they have buggered up this stuff before during previous stat squashes, so I’m not really surprised.
Though when they make comments about their squash intentions being just numbers, not relative power levels, then they (and the idiots and trolls in this thread) should not be surprised when they get called out for failing to deliver.

I kept submitting the power difference as a bug on PTR, but I guess they just didn’t get around to it.
At least older raids are mostly soloable, better than it was a month or so ago on PTR.
Since you seem to want to make stuff up…
How am I at all unstable? Seriously. Point out exactly where I yelled or screamed or called names or was anywhere near angry. Because I haven’t done anything of the sort. I’ve laughed at the drama and explained the issues and gave solutions. That’s it.

Took me 5 or 6 Avenging Wrath to down one of the reef ancients in Nazjatar, which i could easily kill with 1 or perhaps 2 before this s***storm of a prepatch. And i took a lot of dmg too, on my pally who used to 467 ilvl. I felt like i was when 8.2 started.

That’s partially missing corruption and partially that they did make specs pretty bare bones until you get all of your convenant abilities.
I foresee months and years of things needing retuned. That was inevitable.

We didnt even really get content other then customizations. All they did was take away and nerf player power so we can’t even do what we’ve been doing.
And this is the new normal until shadowlands drops. Which doesnt even have a release date.
