Leeway here to stay

Pretty much. The melee range is truly mind blowing with leeway in full force. Hunters are good for one thing in 1v1 - kiting - and leeway and spell batching being overtuned combined with their bugs that have been here since the stress test, they’re just not able to do that either.

aah, and FG was the only combatbug remover I was aware of, until they made shadowmeld usable in-combat. Which patch was it?

Wrath pre-patch.

Vanish?

Am I missing something here? Leeway only works when attacking from behind right? So, don’t turn your back.

Leeway works when you are moving. People have found inventive ways to abuse that game mechanic.

not available on hunters, warlocks or Druids.

Layering wasn’t temporary in vanilla. It didn’t exist.

Everything I have seen about it shows that it works while your enemy is running away. And only when you are attacking your enemy’s back. Is there some other video that shows leeway working differently?

Or warriors, mages, priests, paladins, or shamans, but nowhere in the discussion do I see you limiting combat removers to those classes.

The first mention of Warlocks is you literally saying it in that quote. Same with Druids.

Yes, but it’s temporary. Classic won’t have it after awhile.
You take what you can get. I’d rather not have it, but Blizz simply isn’t likely to budge on this.

I did nowhere see myself playing on any other classes either.

unless you play on a bit less legitimate server… which I wouldn’t recommend. Private servers will be once again, those kids that cannot afford to sub.

That’s great. No-one has any clue what you want to play, except you. You said there were no other combat removers in the game, and I pointed out that there were.

Or people upset with layering or the ridiculous spell batching/leeway.

I did not say that

EDIT: Or wait, I did. sorry.

EDIT2: OR wait, I didn’t. I did say about combatbug removers, not combat removers.

I never tried to vanish in combatbug, tbh.

EDIT3: Or wait, I did say that. Sorry to bother you.

Umm…

I have legitimately spent more time on Pservers than retail at this point, and I started vanilla in Christmas of 04. My memory of what vanilla is has been so distorted at this point that I simply don’t trust any part of my memory when it comes to what feels right.

Blizz has the data, I’m willing to trust them. It does them no benefit to lie.

the exactly identical meaning.

Must have 1.12 because it is the most complete.
Must have AV 1.12 because it gives the developers “clarity”.
Forced replication of bad latency? Better keep it for “authenticity”.
