Leaver penalty in M+

You don’t remember your own yapping, or what’s going on?

Ok. But where did I say

Now remember. You have spoke out on others making things up and moving goal posts.

Yeah its not that hard. Babyragers and leavers aren’t that smart or good enough at the game to hide it.

Look you’re even telling on yourselves.

Can you give an example of a game mode with such a standard that isn’t guaranteed to end eventually? In LoL, even if the winning team delays ending the game, the minion pressure alone will likely end the game eventually. Plus they have a concede vote. Mythic dungeons are not guaranteed to end because there’s no lose condition and no standards in place to ensure the players are capable of completing the dungeon. The only option left is to leave.
And before someone suggests that dungeons should have a concede vote, I’d like to point out that Riot recently lowered the criteria for early conceding because of how infrequent it was for a team to win after they had an early vote result in 4 for 1 against. Forcing players to stay in the game doesn’t mean they’ll succeed.

Can’t argue with that. I did tell on myself that I am able to not only read, but comprehend.

There is a timer, which I do think could be improved upon. Back in shadowlands when I was a lot more active in doing keys than I had in the past, my group and I were experimenting with mathing out the “minimum dps” required to have a key be in time.

Obviously that’s not gonna be perfect cuz there’s other factors to take account of, but we had it to where we could have a pretty reliable idea of whether we were “on track” to finish a key.

Any sort of “well what if I play bad on purpose huh? You can’t stop me from doing bad dps or dying to run out the timer bro” just tells me you should be banned right now to solve everybody’s problems simultaneously. You can move onto a new game, and everybody will have more fun with you gone

Timer is not a rigid lose condition.

Once you can prove I do that in game, sure. (you cant)

Your insistence on lashing out like a cornered animal because you were unable to come up with anything approaching a good system to punish people leaving a player-made group

You told me you would do it if there was a penalty. That’s the low hanging fruit.

I told you that you cant prove I did it.

And you cant.

Why do you think a measurable drop in DPS or HPS after a wipe or as the timer nears completion isn’t provable that someone suddenly stopped trying to win?

Its especially measurable for bosses because they’re a lot more static than trash pulls. You can literally make a graph.

It could even start with a warning bro like “hey man, you’re suspicious right now”

How do you turn this data into an actionable policy at scale?

That’s what we’ve been waiting to hear and that’s what you keep avoiding.

How do you know it will be that measureable if I am just slightly slower at healing?

Just barely.

Blizzard gonna ban people for doing slightly less healing/damage? I would love that.

Gonna start sending Blizzard every single pug log of a failed raid boss or untimed key. “See how this person did X damage on first boss, by less on second? Ban them plz”

It usually won’t have to get into the weeds like this because the babyragers will tell you that they’re trolling the key because they want out.

I’m just demonstrating to them how they’re not as clever as they think they are.

My brother in Thrall. I am not confident of your ability to grasp the situation.

Could be lagging, distracted, mouse died, out of the flow zone for focus, misclicked a cooldown?

You should probably stop throwing around this word.

And this phrase.

He’s either trolling, realizing he has zero valid alternative, or as is becoming increasingly more likely, is too simple to actually grasp what’s happening in this conversation.

He also clearly doesn’t do any content other than like +2’s and doesn’t actually understand m+.

That’s ok, I don’t need or want your confidence. Appreciate it though.

Though if I had my way and saw someone throwing a tantrum and auto running into a wall dying for the fifth because he doesn’t wanna be in the key and “you can’t even prove it bro” I’d happily be the first to leave. And then I’d click off the lil automated reminder saying “hey, don’t do that too much” because I’d have a few left before a real consequence

Really weird statement. What made you bring this up?

Because it has nothing to do with anything I stated.
