No. Why nerfing enjoyable content instead of buffing the " weakest " one?
Add emblem of Heroism on raid that works like valor in MM+.
Bring back the seals.
That would already be a step in the right direction, instead of nerfing everything

I don’t want mythic plus to be nerfed. Raiding needs seals, RNG limiter like badge currencies, and a valor type upgrade for your gear like mythic plus enjoys. In our vaults, mythic gear should come from our labors too.

Raids were dying long before. It’s an outdated tedious mode that has gotten WAY too hard. Like myself, some people have been playing since 2004, and they need a brutal challenge to feel accomplished these days. However, the difficulty creep over time has had the side effect of making raiding unapproachable for a large amount of the player-base.
The race to world first, esports ect, all made the game worse, because it overall reduced it’s appeal to the masses.
The equal to Mythic+, is Mythic raids. They both give one 304 a week. (pvp is a separate issue)
The problem occurs when the player-base by and large, is only interested in heroic level raiding, because anything past that has become poop-sock territory.
The problem is not that m+ gives up loot too easily, the problem is raids have become far too tedious.
Make raids easier, make them more fun and approachable.
Sure you’ll piss off and alienate the truly hardcore, but the overall health of the game will improve.
Here’s a secret known to everyone. WoW wasn’t hardcore at release. The accessibility was its strength at launch. It killed EverQuest’s domination. They have forgotten who their customers are. Esports don’t belong in a MMORPG.

Ion has realized though almost (guessing) 96%+ of pvers do m+, they know they can’t mess with it too much, or we just end up with BFA season 2 m+ loot.
I completely agree. I woke the sleeper.
It sucks that raids aren’t fun to play until they are 1 season behind and don’t give meaningful loot. I just did a normal SoD pug with a bunch of 270ish hunters and 1 tank and it was perfect. Fighting ilvl 233 raid trash and bosses as an ilvl 270 group feels like it is detail tuned to be the ideal raiding experience. Did 3 normal fated CN this week and a few heroic bosses and it was all misery at all times, except one normal cn clear with one of my warrior that took like 45mins because it was stacked with ilvl 300 dps.
Another idea :=)
Each time a new raid open, the last one became fated and offers loot equal to the ilvl of the current raid
People want this like reduction of loot but season 2 bfa was the worst thing we experienced as pvers.
It doesn’t help the raids are tuned for insane levels either. They now expect everyone to be heroically geared up before even stepping into the heroic raid. It truly boggles the mind.

i’m cool w/ raids being easier at the lower levels tbh. no reason not to have it be “impossible” until mythic.
Is anyone actually arguing against buffing raid drops instead of nerfing m+ (other than Blizzard lol) or is this a straw man? Because it seems most folks unanimously agree that Blizz is way too stingy with loot this expansion.
The toxic player culture that has been built around raiding doesn’t help either. Words like … perform … pull your weight… carry encourage nobody to “play”, because it’s not playing anymore. It’s a dang job, where competition is cutthroat. THAT IS NOT FUN
No, players on that level need a cosmetic challenge mode or abandoned all together, and mythic needs to drop back down into normal people difficulty land.
It’s gotten too big for it’s britches and is dragging the entire game into the toilet.
mythic is fun, if you don’t like it that’s fine. but don’t ruin it for others that want a challenge still in raiding.
again, don’t ruin other content when you can make other content, better. none of these things are mutually exclusive
m+ doesn’t have to be bad because raiding is good, and vice versa.
It’s a bleeding sore that needs to be lanced and the pus removed so the game can heal. Right now it’s nearly gangrenous and it’s killing the whole rest of the game.
Without a doubt. People are tired of pulling the 15 dollar lever and getting very little return for their efforts.

The game would be far better if they just deleted mythic raiding. Made Heroic raiding difficulty untouched the top raiding level and left M+ alone.
For the vast majority of the player-base, raiding at that level isn’t fun or desirable. Everyone involved in mythic raiding constantly says … this crap isn’t worth the time commitment. AND THEY ARE RIGHT. But no amount of loot is going to make it worth … it’s wack and needs to go, so it will stop killing the rest of the game.
Big picture, sure it will alienate the nolifer hardcore. No big loss, because it will replace them with new blood, and the system needs that far more.
There’s players here who want m+ players to be as miserable as they are. What they don’t realize is when it’s 3 months into the season and all the raid loggers (the people who want to nerf M+ loot) have got “burnt out” and quit, the remaining players who carry subs are people who enjoy M+.
You can have that opinion, and that’s fine. but still they shouldn’t ruin content for others when they can just make other content more enjoyable. it makes no sense this logic you have.
Yeah, I gave up CE raiding because of the lack of flexibility in the design. M+ offer that.
I can do a m+ in 30 mins.
