Leave m+ alone

At the very least is better then nothing at all.

I won’t disagree. The drops are far too few in mythic raids. Plus many guilds don’t even clear the raid in its allotted season. So even fewer drops overall.

The problem in season 1 was that PvP was so much better than everything else that top raiders and M+ players were just decked out in PvP.

But that’s the recurring problem: Blizzard develops all these different things in a vacuum. There doesn’t seem to be anybody overseeing it all and managing how it all fits together.

The circus at Blizzard lacks a ringmaster.

Or worst, they just shift the importance of the pillars so we don’t look at the problem overall. Only on a per patch basis. We collectively have the memory of a goldfish. They are stringing everyone along the loot ride.

With the caps in place for m+ and pvp (the amount of conquest and VP you can get per week) I think Blizzard should increase the amount of loot we get from everything.

That way people would choice what they like to do and gear up that way, without having the “need” to do content they do not enjoy. Raiders already do the content because that is what they enjoy, raiding for loot is a waste of time.

I agree, but they are trying to max out those time played metrics.

I would play more alts, Blizzard shouldn’t be afraid of people feeling rewarded for their time, I dread gearing up a new character since Legion because you have to deal with +5 systems besides gear.

Yeah I dunno what you mean. The guy said no one wants to raid (sorta true, numbers have plummeted), I said actually plenty of people want to raid but it’s just super difficult to get and keep groups together

No one’s forcing anyone to do anything, it’s a game you can log out whenever

Well consider if JP was not capped but valor was. JP can upgrade items up to the max level that drops a 15. Then valor takes it the rest of the way. That way people aren’t screwed by spending valor on the lower items, which fixes the biggest problem with capped valor.

They should. 16+ is just for show right now.

Mostly the same. Item normalization instead of additional mods and enemy scaling were the significant differences.

If they gave a 10m option for mythic and removed arbitrary barriers like no cross-realm till X and an old fashioned lockout system that doesn’t work in todays system, a lot more people would actually try it. Fact is that heroic will never be a good option cause M+ is far too good. This just leaves mythic which most don’t want to partake in with its current 20m structure. Too much logistics and barriers to get it to work. Stop making games for the top 1% and consider the rest.

Im sure with your massive WoW team youll be able to balance 10m and 20m mythic accordingly. Fun > Balance, its a game not a olympic competition. Your balance hasn’t improved much since its 20m introduction anyways. Now we get raids with unfun oneshot mechanics. Always fun to wait for the last 5 dead weight people in your raid to not wipe for the 300th time. No wonder mythic raiding is declining as hard as it is.

Why is TBC raiding so successful? Because it is much more accessible. The stubborness on the raid design structure is going to kill it eventually. And as it stands they are not moving 1 inch with DF. It is basically borrowed power all over. Blizz knows better and it will take expansion of expansion with disastrous results until you listen. You already killed off PvP with allowing boosting in it. Now there is only 2 pillars left and raiding is on its last breath.

Don’t forget that back in Cata and MoP the raids were 10 / 25, so already a bigger difference that 10 / 20. Also the WoW team back then was a lot smaller than it is today and nowadays they should also have a lot more experience and technology to fix the balancing issue between 10 and 20m. The only thing that needs a bit more work is the boss design itself. But considering that todays boss design isn’t optimal anyways as in insta wipe mechanics because johnny failed the mechanics for the 50th time, it shouldn’t really be a sacrifice in anyway.

Literally one of the biggest counter complaints I receive from people I try to get to play wow with me again, or for the first time, is how much mythic sucks and is a deterrent and not an acceptable sole substitution for other kinds of endgame content or power progression. Blizzard, you want those numbers back? This crap has got to at least be ONE of many ways to achieve power progression. Lot of these people who don’t want to play wow simply want back the classic model of raiding that was actually fun as a game you play sometimes? Not a job. Where all your coworkers are short tempered burnt out tired people working the same monotonous repetitive job day in and day out, only they barely get paid for how many hours they put it.

-in beetlejuice voice- NICE ******* MODEL! :troll:

The whole raiding system needs to be revamped and completely reworked.

The whole philosophy around raiding has gone in the wrong direction to appease the world first raiders and really top end players. I don’t think Blizzard understands that those people are a tiny minority in the grand scheme of things.

TBC was the best time to be a raider in my opinion, the reduction of raid size from vanilla to TBC was amazing and the raids felt nice.

I would rather play mythic plus than deal with the stress of raiding when it’s not rewarding, boring and mundane!

just make raiding loot better and more fun, and people will want to raid. we don’t have to tear down the most consistent system we have in the game.

Blizzard’s been doing the opposite, though. They REDUCED raid drop rates in Shadowlands.

It’s okay. They reduced the number of subs they had too. Have to find the silver lining in the clouds at times.

yeah that’s what sucks. i wish people weren’t so on board with removing loot from one piece of content and buffing the other.

why can’t both just mutually have good loot.

It’s the whole reason I don’t pvp. I get tired of being like 1550 rating, I’ll squeak out two wins and then run into an absolute buzzsaw. Which does nothing for the value of the content.

Can’t upvote this enough

So completely kill ambition for players to do multiple forms of content?

You do realize it’s raid that will die right?

Raids are already dying because of the scarcity of loot and other venues offer more bang for the buck.
