any of the 1% dmg reduction ones, except the flat magic one from nightbourne i think?

I made a troll warrior 19 years ago because I thought their passive health regeneration would help me tank like it did on Trolls in Everquest.

At least with the mailbox I could have received gold seller spam from Susan Express to wipe me @$$ with, which would be infinitely more useful.

Some others that aren’t particularly useful:

  • Kul-Tiran - Child of the Sea. Benefits are negligible.
  • Dwarf - Explorer. Mostly due to the current state of Archeology.
  • Mag’har Orc - Open Skies. Nullified if you’re part of a guild or have anything that improves mount speed.
  • Holy Resistance - Lightforged Draenei. Simply due to the low number of mobs that deal holy damage in the game.

Everything else is at least somewhat useful in some circumstance. But yes, I think that Nightborne mailbox takes the cake. Everywhere you’d care for a mailbox typically has one close by anyway.

Because why would I ever want to look like an elf instead of a dragon?

I mean maybe if I could be a Vulpera or a Troll sure, but elves? Really?

Worgen Two forms.
Lets you turn into a human until you do something, then when you are done doing the thing you have to hit the button again to go back to human.

A racial that only changes the way you look, but can’t even be set like the dracthyr

If I’m in a group with you I better see some of that elf goodness for that out-of-combat regen boost.

boxes all over the place. Molle if you needed one out in the world somewhere for some weird reason.

OP said active racial.

Nightborne racials are, historically, some of the worst in the game by a wide margin. It’s weird that they did not get buffed, since they buffed the Undead racial, even.

TIL nightborne get a mailbox as racial. My main is a nightborne. I feel dumb.

Not to mention visage makes you look like some bejazzled abomination of a human reskin.

Vulpera have arguably the worst combat racial perks.

Like, it’s an on global potion that does 10k and is usually a dps loss.

This isn’t a combat racial. their aoe slow is quite weak, though.

Anything that provides a pitiful damage reduction. Not sure why its 1% but it should feel like 5-10% if racials were to be any worth noting per race.

1% physical reduction feels quite nice when tanking or pvping.

1% that makes every difference for them because they are Tanks or PvPing, usually because they always rely on whatever they can to get the upperhand. Why Mythic First guilds almost pressure you to choose the ‘best’ combination of races and classes.

Sadly, not in my case, and neither does it feel impactful. Just a wasted racial compare to others.
