Le Sserafim at Blizzcon

Gen Z here, never heard of this band in my life.

Also, idk why people are mad. Blizzcon concerts always suck hard. Blizzcon concert crowds are the most dead crowds I have ever seen in my LIFE.

This is why I’m curious to see how successful the collab is. They didn’t even make a song. It was a song most likely already being produced and was going to be released on its own. It has nothing to do with overwatch.

K/DA songs are very much written for League of Legends. Heck one of their champions is a pop star/singer in lore (seraphine I think her name is spelled) lol.

I agree they messed it up, (edit -ignore that part, not going up as much as flopping up and down). Free to play with FortNite skins and now k-pop branding. It works.

And as you said, the group has millions of fans around the world. Fans that will associate the group with OW2. That means the possibility of new players. The choice of music group was not at random.

Marketing people are not dumb. But they are evil :stuck_out_tongue:

Apparently one of the guys from BTS plays overwatch. I know I read another one plays League.

Riots project brought in two members from G-idle and then one from Twice. Idk this current band.

I love the skins and think they look great! The song is ok on its own (heard it in the menu while playing). But for future collabs are they just going to do this formula of taking an already written song and then just making some skins around the band?

That’s like the KFC collab for Diablo. It’s like “huh?”.

I can understand the Diablo/KFC collab. My insides always feel like hell after I eat there. Zing!

Yes.

I didn’t even know what it was. I saw some weird name that I didn’t even want to think about, on my Blizzard App. It looked like if I tried spelling a sneeze :

“LeSafeffeefechoo” or something

And it had some image of an Anime Spice Girls Rip Off.

And that is the musical guest for Blizzcon?

I am so glad to be out of touch.

Never heard their music, but googled Le SSerafirm and, while not usually my taste, they are all pretty sexy.

Thankfully you get some good folks working for that stuff. Like the ones that play into the fandom a bit. Like recently with Aki with Street Fighter.

Fans see this crazy woman and think “I can fix her”

Street Fighter soon says on their website “You can’t fix her. But she can fix you.”

Kpop very good. Anyone complaining about it just shows how much of a boomer you are.

You don’t gotta do ‘Em like that.

The new skins rock though.

:sob:

Hall & Oates playing at Blizzcon! I’d love that!
What? He/She (Idk) said “Out of touch”!

Just blizzard trying to be trendy OP I guess :person_shrugging:

They’re charging $65 for the skins or I think like $20 per.

They’re going to just print money with these. Then they’ll do more.

They’ll do fine. It’ll probably go like…

Orc Cosplayer: “K-pop? No!!! Blood!! Thunder!! War!! Ki…”
Music starts
Orc Cosplayer: “Hmmmm… pretty girls dancing in small clothes make Orc zug-zug. Maybe this ok.”

Be honest, what if they got Nickleback or U2?

Smart business move to move in on the supposed kpop trend when you told me about how much they are charging for skins . :moneybag:

I mean, I don’t like the choice personally but I don’t really care because I don’t play OW.

But OW2 is mainly a teenager game, and Blizzard is trying to get with the times and is obviously analyzing trends or something because a lot of teenagers like KPOP

if they knew what they were doing we would get Amon Amarth

I see she uses the same conditioner as Guile.
