They let it happen, knowing the moment the storm is over people will forget about the launch and will be happily flocking around in the game theyâve wanted for years on end because thatâs exactly what theyâve received.
And thatâs the game the playerbase will ultimately judge for itâs quality, which has proven itself to be so high it ended up as the best MMORPG ever, even with a disastrous launch that canât in any way be replicated 15 years later on new Blizzard tech.
They arenât doing this to save money. They have just as much hardware as there would be for extra segregated servers. This just makes sure you donât get stuck on a dead realm in 6 months.

Are you just pretending that the weeks worth of game time given away gratis by Blizzard never happened? Blizzard was threatened by people on the forums with class action lawsuits because they were unable to log in for days.
Seriously? Do you like it taking 30 minutes to do a simple 10 mob kill quest? Do you really think everyone who is going to play wow classic is going to log in an out at the same time?
