Given how they stuffed up the server counts, Layering at least on Faerlina and Herod isn’t going away on their original timetable.
I don’t understand how layering on ANY currently queued server will ever go anywhere.
Taking layering away will immediately decrease server caps and insanely increase queue times.
Did they think people would stop playing by phase 2?
They will if they continue to let people exploit. Probably why they haven’t done jack to fix the situation.

If they’d actually launched 30 servers in US like we said they needed to, this wouldn’t be an issue. Now you need to convince people to change servers.

Also just noticed that he even destroyed his mining pick to make space for another stack of Arcane Crystals, presumably pulling the crystals out of the mineral veins with sheer force of will. Incredible, Blizzard must ban this ubermenschen immediately.

I know there have been bans and such for lesser offenses. This kind of stockpiling is gold seller fodder, obviously. And it’s an exploit of a technical loophole.
Layer hop cooldown suspension, something like more than 10 consecutive layer jumps in less than an hour logs you out for an hour or prevents you from swapping layers for an hour?

Cheap mats arent a handout, just a result of a supply and demand market, if you want blizzard to make it more of a command economy they could artificially control how many spawn server wide, limit spawning based on amounts held by players, but this wouldnt be very classic either.
Sorry mat prices wont match your servers you used to play on, but each server was different anyway.
Mats are literally infinite right now with layering. That means infinite supply. That means COPPER for high end everything. That means no economy. Have fun farming for your 1000 mount when you can’t sell anything for more than 50 copper. Shooting yourself in the foot.

You wanna know how much arcane crystals are going for on Fairbanks right now? Well, I can’t tell you because there weren’t any on the AH when I looked. I have been surprised at how well bronze and tin have been selling though.
