quite frankly, blizzard doesn’t seem to care at this point. but then again, they were quiet about some exploits until a massive ban wave came out. so time will tell whether they actually care about players that stick to the rules or if they just want to smear our face in dung.

How is there no cooldown on layer swapping? Should only be able to swap every 10 minutes or so outside of city limits.

It’s an old image from vanilla. You can’t do anything like this on live. Yes you can group up with people to switch layers. However that takes a few minutes not seconds.

So layer hopping isn’t real, and is no threat, and addons for layer hopping definitely don’t exist and can’t be abused right now then?

Layering like this can also cause gold inflation because people can hop between Rare spawns and chests, aoe farms much more efficiently.
Find a chest spawn? Hop 20-25 times get all 20-25 chests instead of just 1.
Don’t be a chump and just get the fair amount like you could in classic!
USE a addon to get ahead of everyone else!
