To layer or not to layer
That is the question
Whether it is nobler in mind to suffer the outrageous queues
Or to take up arms against the oppressor
And, by demanding them, hope to return to the layered nirvana
Layers please.
Well you guys don’t really have any other option now but to keep it to one thread since Blizzard locked most if not all of the other ones or merged them.
I’m okay with keeping it to one thread too just not when 90% of the posts in general chat pertain to layers and Arugal.
You tell that to the 4000 in queue tonight. Most will not read your post or the code of conduct when they arrive.
Oh thank god, there isn’t a problem after all. This man was able to make a character at 8:30am, pack it up guys, Blizzards careful observation and research was correct all along!
Maybe this guy is even Actiblizzards data analyst, the astute analysis and thorough methods of research would certainly recommend you for the role.
Until layers return, this is the new way of things. Deal with it.
And report they do as well to silence ppl.
Good luck, you’ll run out of flags once the new wave of spam arrives in 6-8 hours.
They had Yojamba on launch.
Why does anyone not on Arugal even care? Just mind your own business and go back to your own server. If there were valid concerns about Arugal players actually wanting a single layer and 5hr+ queue time then let’s hear it.
It doesn’t affect anyone not on Arugal.
This, if you guys thought yesterday’s posts on this forum was bad - wait until you have a raiding night on Arugal.
Tonight, Tuesday, and Wednesday - in approx 6-8 hours from now for eaxmple it’s going to be nasty.
Half a day in. They announced Arugal weeks beforehand. I had already been accepted into a guild by then.
Yojamba is a realm that raids majorily by GDKP. I don’t wish to join a community that largely values P2W than progression as a team.
Exactly, half a day not weeks.
There are other guilds who are equally as good, if not better out there as well.
Point is, we all had the option of making a new character but chose not to because we wanted to be on a more populated server.
I know the queues suck but the option was there.
Our guild was at least 5 minutes faster than the fastest Yojamba guild last tier. The only guild there that doesn’t struggle through BWL mind you.
But at least you can play on Yojamba when there are no layers, which we knew were going to be temporary.
I’d sooner stop playing all together than leave the guild I helped build, 4 phases out of 6.
Not saying to leave now, but to live with the draw backs of a populated server. If one layer is here to stay then so are the queues.
If we all went to Yojamba half a day in, then we would’ve helped build out another guild on a less populated server.
You realise, if everyone in tonight’s queue would to suddenly decide to transfer to Yojamba, they would be the ones now with queues.
That’s not an option though. What is an option was creating a new character half a day into release on Yojamba, and exercising the foresight that when Layering was to eventually be removed (which they announced very early on) the queues on Arugal will be unplayable.
No one that was ever serious about the game was going to transfer to yojamba Arugal was and always will be the number one oce server no one wants to go to a subpar server.
