Lag in Boralus

There is a delay of anywhere from 2-10 seconds when interacting in Boralus. The world latency is reading normal as well as my home latency. Any news if this is everywhere or only on Ravencrest?

It is absolutely horrible in Boralus! Some lag elsewhere in the new zones. However, I can go to SW & the old worlds & everything functions as it should, ie. no lag. This is a new world issue. I’m thinking maybe it is a sharding issue. Was happening in Drustvar yesterday, got on a different shard & everything was fine.

Reporting in from Ravencrest/Uldaman for the same problem. Yesterday it was just Boralus for me, today it’s Boralus and all of Tiragarde Sound. Every other zone seems just fine.

Yep, Ravencrest here too. Same problem as above. Lag is in Non-Warmode only. With WM on, there is no lag in Boralus. It takes upwards of 3-5 seconds to complete an action. Felt even worse trying to herb in Tiragarde.

Yes it does appear the lag on Ravencrest is only non-warmode seems to be new world zones. And of course it started Tuesday night, 4/30/19. I’m just waiting for Blizz to say, "It’s your addons, your PC, your internet, it’s working as intended…(trademark). Funny how the lag doesn’t happen in war-mode.

Completely awful Garona lag again tonight, feels like 1000ms but I read only 50/60ms green bars.

There is no solution, as below.

Hey all, We did some digging into the issue and it looks like some of the shards got busy when we were first getting reports of this issue. This is a resurgence of these two issues, it seems. North American Ability/Loot Lag Issue Oceanic Ability/Loot Lag Issue These are still being worked on with periodic improvements, but we have nothing further to share on the matter at this time. For now it’s best to keep things centralized on whichever thread is best for your region.

The lag in Boralus and Tiragarde Sound on Ravencrest / Uldaman (non-warmode) is extreme. It’s been bad for three days now, and it’s definitely not showing any sign of improving. I know it’s not just me; everyone in-guild is having the issue. Additionally, general chat is full of constant complaints.

I just tried to turn in the completed missions on my boat. Due to the lag, retrieving my rewards took roughly 2 minutes. Sending out new missions had about 15 seconds delay from the time I clicked the button until the time the mission actually appeared to be sent.

I’ve heard the turtle quests in Tiragarde Sound are impossible but given the lag I’ve experienced, I’m not willing to even try.

It would also be helpful if someone could let us know this is being looked into at the very least. Or just fixed! Thanks.

Just was on my auction house toon on Dawnbringer and couldn’t even get my mail with the open all option. I was having at least a 3 second delay on any action but world and home lat was 35. I gave up trying to post auctions. I am in winterspring using that AH because I don’t normally get the lag there that I do in cities.

It is just horrible. I’m on Uldaman which is connected with Ravencrest. So many people are complaining about it, jsut curious when they going to do anything about it. When the last turtle quest you need is in that area but you cant get it done because the crab doesnt respond or you cant get a kill off. 15$ a month for lag, fab!

I just tried to use my flight master’s whistle. Such fail! The bird just hovered by me for about 30 seconds and couldn’t even pick me up. Womp womp! lol

The Make Loh Go Tortollan quest in Tiragarde Sound is unplayable for me. 3 to 4 second delays between key press and action followed by the inevitable “That’s not the way it’s supposed to go”.

Finally gave up after multiple retries and tried to fly away. Flight whistle did not work.

Have disabled add-ons, updated video drivers and applied all Windows 10 patches to no avail.

I’m having lag issues as well, but I’m on Stormrage. It seems like ever since the latest update there’s been horrible lag in either Zuldazar or Tiragarde, possibly switching everyday? Currently it’s in Tiragarde and it’s playable, but it’s still really bad. There’s at least a 2 second delay between me hitting a button and my character performing the action.

Ravencrest here too, The lag is ridiculous. If it continues, I am going to withhold my next months subscription. Simply on the basis that leveling is almost impossible at this point.

Hi there friends,

We have a report up and are looking in to these issues. Right now, we do not have a fix for this but I wanted to say thank to you all for taking the time to report this.

For the time being, the only real thing we have heard helps in some rare cases is toggling war mode. This is not a sure thing, just something we have seen. We hope this is resolved soon.

Please keep reporting these issues.
