(Ladies) Is there anything in game you think is inappropriate?

Not you,

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

I forgive you

Because you’re posting on a male character. If you’re a woman voicing your opinion over the succubus then fine and you’re right no one woman speaks for us all but no man ever speaks for me.

I used to be skinny and have cup I… it’s horrible. LOL.

People assuming my gender because I disagreed with them. I just like how the male BE looks. Amazing.

Some people call it ‘gay’ for a guy to play a female character or vice versa.
I say, I’m looking at that butt all day long, why not make it something I like lookin at. Right?

I am not a women, but I am a cat owner and as a cat owner I am offended by being able to target Mr. Bigglesworth in Naxx.

Hey I’m not at that point, but bras are a curse… if I find the right cup, it’s too tight around my torso, if it fits well around my torso… the cup’s too small.

The country I live in hates chest fat.

Very sexist to assume that I’m a male just because I’m posting on a male character

I think it is funny to read some of these comments. Most of them are all from a personal perspective. Can you imagine trying to make a game, movie, play or anything for that matter to appeal to everyone’s perspective?

As opposed to, for example
Redridge - Male Orcs
Stonetalon - Male Goblins
Duskwood - Male Worgens
Southern Barrens - Male Gnolls
Most Instances and Raids - Male Versions

This has to be one of the most far fetched statements I have ever read. I have been playing this game since Beta, along with a bunch of friends that all came from SWG. i have never in my life, nor know anyone that has looked into what the developers do or say and model my gameplay after them. I honestly couldn’t name or recognize one if they walked into my office and introduced themselves.

At the end of the day, it is a product, put out by a company to make money, therefore, it must cater to the biggest customer base out there. At one point that was young males. Now, a larger base is becoming female, which is great, so if they need to adapt their product for a more mass appeal, then so be it. If at some point there product no longer appeals to me, then I will leave and find another product that does.

That would be like me wanting a Corvette, going to a Ford dealer and demand that they redesign the Mustang to be a Vette. No, I go to the company that has the product I want.

I’m pretty sure you’re a male from your post history.

One of those men that feel entitled to decide what’s best for the women in the game.

You should go play around in your succubus victim thread instead of presuming that you speak for women.

I wouldn’t say night elf females have unrealistic proportions. They’re elves, and nature elves at that. The thing about night elf females is they always have their shoulders rolled back to have their boobs stick out farther. I mean seriously, if you turn your camera sideways and look, their shoulders are farther back then their butt is.

I never said I spoke for anyone but myself. You seem to think that you do though. Quite the conundrum…

the only thing i find “inappropriate” is the amount of time women are dressed kind of in skimpy armor while the males are fully armored clad, tho i cant really remember the last time WoW did this.

other than that? no lol

Mmmmmmmm have you actually looked to see that all the NPCs are male, or are you just assuming? I very much remember the Worgen that you fight in Duskwood being male and female outside a set of caves.

In Stonetalon - https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Chief_Blastgineer_Bombgutz

I don’t want to have to take time away from the Tournament of Ages to fly out to the zones to prove you wrong, but by gum I will if I have to.

Anyway, making all the witches female, and witches, just struck me as weird even though I know, logically, that they only made the one “witch” model based on tooling around with the Corrupted Arakkoa base model from BC, with a witch mask on basically, for all-around cost savings. Like I said, eyebrow-raising, like “Is thiiiiiiiis the take they want to go with?” Rather than offended.

The thread has (ladies) in parenthesis. This is a thread asking “women” what they feel is inappropriate in the game and yet here you are on your crusade against the Succubus that doesn’t seem to bother many of the women here.

It’s exactly like I said in my post. Stop assuming that you speak for women or that you know what’s best for us. Or how we view things. Or what we consider offensive. We have our own opinions on these matters. You don’t know what’s best for us!

I never said you were offended, it was an example of personal perspective. My personal perspective on it is, oh it is a witch NPC, of course it would be female, and the storyline, which specifics escape me at this time, actually discussed that with the head witchy lady of the zone why it was only women. i think it was a control thing.

As far as the Worgen, if you look at the player model characters, the female Worgens were smaller, much much smaller, and had different animations, all of the ones I have killed had the male animations and I just got done killing a ton of them for the leather.

My point was not to bash on you at all, it was to merely point out our differences on perspectives, neither is right or wrong and no offense was meant.

Show me where I said I knew best for you? Quit making stuff up!

And that is the part that made me go, “…huh.” I mean, that’s the lore explanation, that Meredith Waycrest turned to the Drust to save her husband and make him the Lord Admiral somehow, made a pact with Gorak Tul, and when she started to recruit people to the cause they were all girls for…reasons? Because some writer in Blizzard somewhere saw The Witch and went, “Ooo, let’s do that!” is the most likely reason, but in-game, the logic behind Lady Waycrest going all-female for her coven isn’t really laid out.

The closest thing we get are the notes in https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/The_Fall_of_Corlain_(quest) which indicate that the girls were sneaking off to the manor and joining up with the coven, and the men were being enchanted to not notice as they got murdered, but like…why? From the standpoint of the writer, why have gender play a factor in the story if there’s not going to be a reason for it? Lady Waycrest is never set up to be some kind of rabid man-hater, she went into the whole thing trying to help her husband, and even though she had her daughter’s husband murdered she still worshipped the (male) Gorak Tul and was mostly an instrument for his will, but there’s nothing out there to suggest that he had a reason for building an all-female coven either.

Not for the first time, I just look at the writing and design and go, “Why? Why these choices? No like…really?”
