Blue humans are so 2009. I love saying I am a smurf I dont mean the blue people.
I’m a fan of the Kyrian. I’m a bit disappointed how they’re not popular, but also excited because it probably means they’re going to get rid of this god-awful Steward ability.
The only part I don’t like is when people call it a brainwashing cult. It’s not like that. There’s a reason to it, and it’s a problem the campaign will hone in on and fix.
Bold ignorance is pretty common in average wow players xD
It is so bad it is like you havent even watched a single stream or alpha vid to know about any other shadowlands region or covenant lmao.
Why am I not answering you directly? Because bold ignorance produces such quality clowns it would be a shame xD
But they are a brainwashing cult.
Be blue, be emotionless, or be worthless.
Yet you dance around the point and don’t want to address me because you know you’re wrong. A shame.
KYRIANS
The noble inhabitants of Bastion who shepherd the souls of the dead to Oribos so that they can be judged by the impassive Arbiter before being sent to their final destinations. Fresh arrivals to Bastion will become Kyrian Aspirants—wingless beings who train for eons to one day earn their wings and join the ranks of the Ascended.
Straight from the Kyrian Covenant and Bastion Preview.
Have you ever looked into the reason why?
Imagine reading one small part of the shadowlands and not even able to understand that xD
Keep going, it is quite hilarious lmao
No I’ll wait for you to make a decent counter argument that proves me wrong. Since I have yet to be proven wrong.
If it weren’t for vesper totem, they wouldn’t even be on my radar.
I don’t like their generic theme, and their secondary covenant ability is also incredibly lame, some owl nerd giving you a bag of chips.
Sounds like a good way to spoil Uther for me. I’m waiting, but my outward reaction is that they’re a brainwashing cult.
I mean, we’ve only seen spirit healers in black-and-white. It could have been literally any color…
I haven’t read much about the covenants but I will go with whatever is best for my warrior
I can’t believe I’m saying this but they should have designed that covenant look wise more like diablos high heaven. As it sits it looks like some cartoon joke of a faction and the aesthetic is so bland it’s like they took everything boring about the alliance and squished it into a covenant.
Okay well I won’t go into Uther. But he is important later on.
As a background, you need to remember a Kyrian’s role in the Shadowlands. It is to shepherd souls from the realm of the living and bring them to Oribos to be judged by the Arbiter.
You see that? It’s the soulstream. Those are all the souls they bring to the Shadowlands. Without their work, the Shadowlands would have no souls and no anima to even function. So this requires a Kyrian to be pragmatic and unbiased, in an attempt to not jeopardize their duty and realm.
So for instance, if they did let them keep their memories, what happens when a Kyrian who was a human footman stumbles upon an orc soul? What if he just leaves it? He denies the Shadowlands anima and damns a soul.
Vampires are lame, screw Venthyr.
Might go Night Fae though.
Just like Anduin, being too perfect and holier than thou is BORING
Ah.
That makes a lot of sense.
It doesn’t make me like them more, though. Venthyr and Necrolords are more speed.
My inner 9 year old edgelord must feast.
How many people voted “whatever sims the highest”
(Statement): Unit Exacitor is a Mechagnome; stripping away impurities (flesh) to attain perfection (mechanization) is the goal. The Kyrians resonate with Unit Exacitor on a deeper level. He can appreciate their noble aspirations. He hopes to offer them options for Mechanization. His engineers are quite excited to try mechanizing wings too.
