(Speculative): I do hope the Covenant Ability is changed. Something perhaps a bit more interesting would be an ability that gives you wings, an aggro drop like Invisibility/Shadowmeld, and 10 seconds of flight with +50% movement speed? Until Pathfinder is added that’d probably be a very valuable ability, less so after normal flight is available, but the aggro drop itself would be big.
Bluther is an abomination. He belongs in Maldraxus, the realm of iron wills.
Bastion is the realm of duty and rising to a higher purpose.
Maldraxxus is too busy killing eachother vying for a throne that belongs to none of them.
The Kyrian aesthetics are my favorite! Love the mail armor! But I feel like I would be making playing the game less fun by choosing them since their abilities are so uninteresting and lackluster compared to others… wish they would just make the covenant abilities similar. Like one for mobility and one for damage for each group.
My choice of Venthyr so far has to do with the teleport ability which seems like it will be ultra useful in M+
If another ability begins to trump the teleport, I may settle for that.
…and before others start saying “pick what you like”, try to understand some people like whatever benefits their play style the most. We generally don’t care about aesthetics, RP or lore.
The difference is the borg are cool and look cool the kyrians are dumb and look dumb.

Night Elf lore is what brought me here, and Night Elf questing zones are for me the best in my opinion (Ashenvale and it’s music!).

We’ve been seeing those valkyresk-angel stuff since forever, and legion finally got me tired of those angel-esk theme with that stupid Odín and his stupid Valhalla. Of course they would be the least interesting covenant of the four.

Venthyr is gonna get nerfed at live or beta and you know it
They’ll change that to 20 yards whenever mythic+ is available to test
the ONLY way I see them nerfing it… it would be “teleport not usable while in combat” but it would still benefit m+ alot regardless.

I know personally the Kyrian was my least fav right from the start without knowing much about any abilities. I think they will be the least played because there theme is the least “new” to us. they have a very strong pally feel which would be odd for a lot of classes like DK,Lock,Rogue to name a few. I only see them getting massive play if there abilities end up way over tuned.
If it turns out I have to play more in one zone because of my selection, Kyrians will probably end up being the covenant I choose. Some of those zones are just terrible.
