Here’s a hint, fantasy was created based on real life concepts, fantasy exists because real life existed first.
And when a concept was birthed from real life, it only makes sense it is in fantasy and it is equated as such, fantasy does not exist on its own.

Well since your Pro-Individualism, i don’t know why your getting up in arms about people choosing at their own free will to join a covenant you dislike.
You’re gonna judge somebody’s personality based on the choices they make in a video game? 
In a river of disagreements i have with you, you always have that one golden nugget of agreement that we can both agree on. 
I’m always pretty baffled whenever most of the times i see a Human male paladin, their always seem to dislike the other races being paladins (or existing in general) and always happen to be pro purging. And honestly, it kinda sucks, to see that a noble and heroic handsome stud in armor, all the sudden, leaves you to die or kills you cause your ears are a little too pointy for his taste. 
Meanwhile the light is accepting everybody in, including Zandalari Trolls. Heck, even a demon hunter at one point… or tried to. The Light is pretty accepting of everybody, priest or paladin. Makes you wonder what the stereotypical Human Male Paladins are then, contrasted to the light.
What you’re doing here is justifying your silly hatred against players who picked a Covenant you dislike this way.
Hating a player because of a silly meaningless choice they make in a silly meaningless video game is silly enough, but why pointlessly bring it in and equate it to real life in the mix? 
That would be like me saying “The horde are like the X (Group(s) of people) from Y (Event(s) in World's history), who that group support and condone Z (Action(s) i'm against) and therefore, i hate the horde players based on that.” That would be an absurd thing to say that.
Then why not explain it to make him understand better your points?

Hey Ralph, since you seemingly don’t understand the role of a Kyrian, I’m going to give you the reasoning behind the memory-wiping.
A Kyrian has the absolute most important job in the Shadowlands; escorting souls from Azeroth into the afterlife. Without them, the Shadowlands wouldn’t even exist. This requires a Kyrian to be pragmatic and evaluate a soul by how ready it is and not by who it is. What happens when you have a bunch of soul-carriers who used to be Alliance in life, now have to escort Horde spirits? What if they refused? They’d be damning souls for eternity, and denying the Shadowlands anima.
Even if you still hate them for that, the entire Kyrian campaign is about you and Uther changing the Covenant for the better. Seemingly giving Kyrian back their memories (since they don’t actually wipe memories, they just store them in vaults).

Agreed theybhavent said which mounts or pets will be locked behind which covenant either. Like that cool looking death elemental couldnmake me swing away from the vampires to the necrolords on my lock. Still a lot of variables to be told before anyone makes a decision. I personally would like one of each (still waiting to decide which class gets which of course) maybe even one each per faction questing dependent.

Blizz said to pick one based off of what my character did in life, so I did so. Not based off abilities or aesthetic. I was just complying with what I was told to do. I’m kinda meh on all of the covenants, so I picked Venthyr because I felt like it would make sense for my hunter.
They have a useless ability and door of shadows is busted
Warriors = Venthyr
Priests = Venthyr/Bastion
Hunters = Fairy friends
Mages = fairy friends/Venthyr
I honestly can’t decide between Kyrian or Necrolord but am leaning Kyrian.
That poll has really low numbers and I suspect a lot of people are picking Venthyr because streamers said their ability is broken.

Kyrian Covenant is aesthetically boring to me. Its more damn human-looking blue people. The themes just are drastically boring on the surface.
