Funny how allllll the people who said over and over for months that they wanted solo, long term grinds that allowed them gear progression over most of the patch are nowhere to be found…

I like how its thursday and theres a post saying we want everything right now.
Also, without gearing up we would have to go back to leveling up, because I sure wouldn’t play if I was doing dungeons/raids/whatever for no gear or anything really.

It takes a lot of time for casuals like me, but I guess I’m just happy to have goals again. Even if they are slowwwww…
That’s sad, I know it’s the truth for a great many people but I could raid for no reward because I enjoy raiding.
Should have just made the relics go towards empowering the covenant armor further. The first upgrade resets each piece to the Korthia empowered pieces changing it back to level 1 and ilvl 207 and go from there. At least then you still get the set bonuses (which I will miss) and reuse the armor you already earned.
good points. They will obvious make up joke excuses, but good point regardless.

I don’t mind some of your suggestions like adding a calling and making the research more available, but the idea is for “casuals” (/sigh) to be able to get 233 gear over time…not in the first day…week…or month.
I mean, it’s actually something people ask for on a basis that isn’t exactly rare.
Some people do actually think that world quest sets should be better in the overworld than gear from endgame content. There’s been a recent surge in belief that segregated gearing for all content would be good, when in reality there’s no reason for casual gearing to have the same progression as endgame gearing.
Hell, world-quest gearing isn’t even necessarily the only “casual” gearing one can do. Casually raiding, doing keys on occasion and such is more than enough to get decent gear. If you can’t clear a few bosses of Normal or (last season) do a +3-5 key, or even a bit of casual PvP and conquest grinding… Have you considered that you don’t want to put effort into the actual endgame?
Most world quests and world content difficulty are about on par with 10 boars and 5 acorns. Just saying. When I’m doing that crap I put on a television, listen to music and read the news. It’s mindnumbing.

I mean I have alrdy upgraded multiple pieces to 220 from the new zone didn’t even take me hours to do either seems pretty good to me
Yeah I’m sure you would raid once a week every week for 8 months if there was no loot.
Like I’m sure those 10-25 people playing in that raid would continue to do so with no loot reward.

They got that in 9.0 but weren’t happy that they maxed covenant gear so fast and had nothing left to do.

9.0 was fairly sparse for everyone, though. Not just people who didn’t wanna do endgame. The raid was okay, the keys were good despite the seasonal affix, the PvP was actually decent, but there wasn’t an overwhelming abundance of content for anyone, hence why we just got out of an 8 month drought that everyone dealt with.
I was very happy with it since it allowed me to get 17 characters almost all maxed out to 197 covenant gear/renown 40.
If there’s anything to get from this post is that there’s no point trying to make you guys happy, you’re playing the wrong game.
Can literally get nearly Heroic level loot killing random effortless mobs. Still too much to ask.

Also, like a casual player has no defense for why they can’t seem to find a guild who raids once or twice a week at a time that they could participate in.
That would give them access to seems like what they want and they only have to invest 1-3 hours twice a week to do that.
Theres literally thousands of guilds with different raid times they could join.
I think “Casual” and “Lazy” are not the same.
For the record, raiding doesn’t = an instant full set of gear either. Tons of RNG to it even if you can kill the bosses. You can go weeks without upgrades.
