Cool you have an opinion but that does not mean your opinion is entitled to mine or anyone’s respect. People are allowed to say you have a bad take. Especially sense you can’t properly articulate a good reason for it. Like if you don’t want to be criticized for a bad take then think before you put your foot in your mouth

Yet it’s still 100% true. SoD is not classic in anyway, shape or form. Runes are taken from various expacs and even using retail mechanics. You have a world pvp event that never existed in classic. You have brand new vendors and npcs. Quests that are all made using retail mechanics.
No matter how much you want to deny it, this is not classic, its made for change and uses retail based ideas to do so. If you want classic then Era is that way.
no because simply being able to in pvp and getting people in your group for both pvp and pve , being able to look at a characters appearance and being able to assess their general power from knowing what gear looks like is a valuable thing that shouldnt be discounted.
peoples “silouettes” in game help people tell characters apart and their capabilities without being able to fully inspect them through the interface.
stop with this transmog garbage. it takes away way more than it adds to a very very large degree.
Not really, also the classic feel is a sense of exploration, discovery and challenge. Thats why i fell in love with wow when i played vanilla, i played it in spite of looking like a mismatched clown not because of it.

Yes me, someone who actually played the game the first weeks of its release. And most people who talk about old school wow with fond memories.
I’m not saying it does.
I have articulated at least one reason, whether you care to acknowledge that or not.
It’s not that I don’t want to be criticized, it’s more that I’m pointing out that some people seem to be attempting to use negative language to shut down other people’s opinions, and that is relatively telling of a couple of things:
- They don’t actually have an intelligent or thought out opinion (clearly)
- They don’t have any support for what they are saying, but they’d like to prevent others from disagreeing (bullying)
Whatever people feel comfortable expressing is their own prerogative, and of course I am a believer and supporter that everyone should champion their own opinions and preferences.
If someone feels comfortable in a conversation with strawmen or name-calling or other ad-hominem that’s on them. It actually tends to be quite obvious (from what I can tell) to anyone reading along.
My classic feel isn’t the same as yours.
I played at actual world of Warcraft launch.

Okay cool, we already been through this. Im open to people being able to turn off transmog on their end. Also find it funny that alot of the people arguing with me have a fully mogged out set on their profile piced 
if it were only on the client side of things and only you alone could see it i would have no problem with it . in fact there is a program that does this exact thing that i have no problem with (other than the fact that it can get you banned). wont say the name of it either.
but ya if it were only on your end i dont care.
when it comes to interacting with other people it should never be a thing. not even a toggle that was default .
transmog has no place in this era of the game.

We basically started the game at the same time. If you are not just capping to be an annoying troll. You don’t really seem to have a point you are just arguing for the sake of being annoying. Transmog doesn’t take anything away from what made the old world and the old game fun. Get over it
