Allowing people to be creative with how their pixelated avatar looks, yes, so immature.
Okay if you want visual progression gear wise for your character then just don’t transmog. Thats your choice.

Wearing mismatched colored armor makes you look like a clown already.

so because of your forcing transmog on everyone else we have to spend extra time rightclick inspecting them instead of just glancing at them and being like seems ok to me?
why should i be forced to take extra steps for a thing i dont want in the first place and the fact that the pvp argument is valid as well?

It’s literally 3 mouse clicks at most.
- Click the Character
- Right Click their Portrait
- Click Inspect
Man, what a hassle.
It’s really not. PvP is a coin flip gamble with a wide variety of factors into it. If you’re serious about PvP, you should already instinctively know with confidence what is and isn’t a good match up to where what someone is wearing makes no difference. And if you’re not serious at all about PvP then this is a complete non issue for you.
Transmog is lame. Don’t ruin my Christmas.

funny how people who want transmog wont agree to having it be for their eyes only and want to force it on other people.
there have been plenty of times ive avoided or engaged based solely on what the other person was wearing so it is indeed a valid argument as much as you try to play it off as not being one.

You have transmog, its called t-mog. I’m 100% in favor of client side only t-mog. Your charter can look like whatever you want on your screen but not on mine.

sure . there have been times in both era and sod that i have avoided rather good geared people and not engaged and times where i have engaged knowing someone was a weaker geared person.
there have been times on characters where i could poly and noticed someone with the skull and prepared by still casting the poly but had my nova to cc while i waited for the skull to tick down.
plenty of times where knowing what someone had on them either saved me or doomed my opponents .

What Skull are you talking about? Skull marker? Item with Skull in the name?

it will be in the game next phase i believe from badlands if i remember correctly.
knowing i need 2 forms of cc vs a target that can break on damge poly or sap is invaluable .
other times in sod alone since we are talking about this game too is seeing someone nearly bised out vs someone in quest greens and choosing accordingly if i engage or not . really useful on a stealth class.
What exactly would you transmog to? There’s nothing good looking in this game at Level 25. Hell, there’s nothing good looking before Level 60.
You might be able to farm some matching greens to eliminate the “clown” look, but you’re going to be wearing some really ugly low-quality armor regardless. It just doesn’t really make sense to have it here.
You’re telling me, you saw a tiny off-hand on a Enemy from far away enough to know whether or not to engage with them? And that’s even assuming that offhand even shows up when sheathed.
I would transmog to Raider Mail as it’s a favorite of mine from the Mail era of my Warrior Level range.

i dont remember dates very well cause im old but bleh.

simple thing is not having transmog has impacted my own gameplay decisions neumerous times and forcing it on people is a wrong thing to do .
make it only visible for the person transmogging and let everyone else see their “real” gear and it will be fine.
i see nothing wrong with that at all.
