the vote has to be initiated out of combat but i don’t know if combat cancels it or not
Should’ve just wiped and started over. It’s a leveling dungeon, what would you lose?
Main things to focus on here , is when they died, it was around 1 minute of me being alive solo, fighting and he had 3% remaining , this compared to what the alternative , me dying and us running back and starting over , i think I made the right choice, they kicked me and decided to WAIT for a whole nother tank to run all the way there to kill it.

If I know anything about that dungeon, fighting at the candle makes it go out faster, so even if they were scrambling in the dark to get a new candle, the fight prolly wasn’t helping. This is why I do delves and follower dungeons. People are just not human anymore. Gamers used to support gamers.
the majority of the group did not want to play with you so you were kicked. Working as intended
The dk was running around with the candle, moving it away from everyone, which in return makes it dark and us do no damage. Also when your in the dark you take a stacking debuff, which is why everyone died.
yeah you have to be in the light and it has to have some on the bar to actually damage the boss
The guy who is playing correct was kicked, where as the guy who messed up the mechanics stayed, Like I stated, backwards world we live in .

False, it can be at 0 and as long as you are directly on top of the candle you can still do damage, it just fears you every 3 seconds .
You can imitate a kick in combat now, People were abusing keeping the group in combat.
That 12% went slowly enough for them to ask him to wipe and restart, him to refuse, and for them to put through a vote to kick.

Well 100% is where bosses generally start right? So out of 100% the boss had 3% remaining. But if were being technical this boss starts at 100% And dies when you get him to 50% , so by that statement he had 53% Health remaining.

Ill dumb it down for you since it seems to have to be that way, I was kicked from a group for playing the game correctly and the guy who made the group wipe stayed, I was simply finishing the boss off so we could move on, he had maybe 15 seconds left before I would kill him and that would be the end. Me wiping on purpose would make us have to run back to the boss, start at 100% and assume the guy who made us wipe magically understands how it works , after all that , is that the faster alternative? No its not even close and not even worth debating .
