Generally players don’t like it when we (tanks) make that decision for the group.
Again, this was a leveling dungeon – what’s the harm in resetting the boss?
Why would I restart the boss when I can just kill him faster than im typing this sentence and we grab the loot and we move to the next dungeon. Why would I play worse for others to feel better about themselves? Im confused by that statement
I’m guessing this story continues to develop as we go.

Nah, he said he was 77 chances are he spent several minutes with his group telling him to wipe as he did 99% reduced damage to boss because he couldn’t even be bothered to go run and grab some more light while soloing it he did say candle was at 0% I probably would have kicked him as well, or at the least got up to go use the bathroom and fix a snack.

I’m thinking OP might be one of the reasons they came up with follower dungeons .

The boss was basically dead, they died and i was just finishing the job, thats all. I would hope any tank I have in my group does that instead of just giving up.

I expect you to come back here and admit i was right after comin at me with such a strong statement claiming i was fighting a boss at 99% reduction. Or if I hear nothing from you I will assume you knew you were wrong
Don’t worry I’m going to go solo the place on my warrior and will let you know wont be able to say for sure on heroic because I’m not taking that long to solo that especially since you were in normal not sure if i can get past the minecart solo but we will see

Does kinda suck but sometimes people want a second chance to learn a boss or just do it as a group. When they initiated the kick it would’ve taken a couple moments, so it’s not like they would’ve initiated it at 3%.
think what you want but know I just died to first boss 5 times the adds dot you and it seems to stack an unlimited amount of times 40 million damage taken in 50 seconds is impossible
EDIT while this rage filled saltmine is right that a fully depleted candle can be stood on for light in normal’s I can also see why he would get kicked due to the sheer amount of fears he would be eating it would be a slow solo

They couldn’t hold a candle to you.
