Kicked from group for dying one time in a time walking-- level 20 priest

Abusive, kicking me from group because I died one time, thus incurring a 30 minute penalty. Tank was mass pulling and gave no time to get to the group thus making it impossible to even reach them, by the time I arrived halfway they had already kicked me from the group. I died by falling off by accident in a WOTLK dungeon at 6:40ish pm. All the players names.

This isn’t abuse. The group decided they didn’t want you there.

I suggest removing the names from your post as we do not do call outs here.

It’s not mob rule. It’s a vote.

You’re entitled to be annoyed, but that doesn’t change the official position of Blizzard, per the Support article.

And you risk drawing a forum penalty for naming and shaming in violation of the forum Code of Conduct.

People have the ability to vote no. People did not vote no in your case.

The post from Vrakthis above addresses this and tells you to use the in game feedback system if you have suggestions for changes.

There is no rule being broken and the blue post explains how this works.

Of course not. They’ve done nothing in violation of the game’s rules. Read the support article. That explains why you’re wrong, no matter how strongly you feel about it.

Please read the blue post again. There is nothing that can be done here on this forum.

People can kick for any or no reason. That is the agency we are given for auto queue pugs.

If you dislike that, then use the in game tool to give suggestions and feedback.

Except you are incorrect. This isn’t griefing.

As per support article and blue post, it is not.

Once more, there is nothing any of us on a peer to peer help desk can do. There are no developers here. If you want to give ideas and feedback, please use the in game feedback system.

And this is not where you go to try to give your input.

Interestingly enough, there are also rules for how you disagree with the rules, if you want your disagreement heard.

TL;DR: posting suggestions to change the rules don’t go in any of the Support forums. The people who decide those rules do not read these forums and are not forwarded feedback by those who do read these forums.

So post in a non-Support forum like General Discussion or the Dungeons, Raids, and Scenarios forum, or use the in-game suggestion feature.

But don’t repeat the name-and-shame trick, unless you really want to just lose your voice on the forums entirely.

To get to the meat of the topic: It doesn’t matter if you feel wronged in this, the system is setup to allow folks to remove someone they don’t feel is working with them. You can scream it from the rooftops until the cows come home, but it won’t change the fact that vote kicking someone isn’t against the rules.

This isn’t olden days when folks try to mess with one another by posting on the forums - folks are more knowledgeable then before and will question someone’s intent from posting.

Again… nothing can be done from this forum.

It’s a peer to peer help desk.

It’s okay because that’s what the policy is, there is no argument. That is just the current stance and behavior of the system because of enough bad actors for previous versions.

If you have any constructive, actionable suggestions to change it, you’ll want to post it in the Dungeons, Raids, and Scenarios forum.

What you imply wanting has already been done before and it was disastrous game-wide, so be prepared with an idea that is better.

No one is claiming that you can’t be annoyed.

But it’s not against rules. And if you want to see changes, this forum isn’t where you post. Nor do you call people out here.

I don’t think anyone disagrees that you’re entitled to be irritated.

But that doesn’t give any license to violate the CoC, or entitle you to expect an exception to the feedback rules. Your initial posting here seems to be based on both. It will undoubtedly be edited by a moderator to comply with the rules and then the entire thread will be closed. And if you’re fortunate, you won’t lose your forum posting privileges so when you cool off you’ll still be able to advocate for yourself in an appropriate manner.

And you continue to ignore what’s being to to you.

Let’s try it in bold.

This is a peer to peer help desk only. If you want to give feedback, then use the tools we have provided for you multiple times now.

You was told you can make a suggestion on how to improve stuff. The CS forum isn’t one of them, let alone trying to act like others should be harass because you feel like it.

Reread what I said, I think you aren’t getting it.
